South and South West Results Round-Up – Haines, Bristow and Hughes Shine On Busy Vault Night

 


Tuesday night saw another huge programme of ADC Vault 18 action across the country, with several South West venues producing high-quality darts as players continued their push for valuable ranking points.

From Bristol and Chard to Tiverton, Faringdon and Evesham, there was plenty to talk about as some familiar names added more silverware to impressive seasons.

Johnny Haines Produces Class Display In Faringdon

Johnny Haines was one of the standout performers of the evening after lifting the Vault 18 title at Faringdon Town Football Club.

Haines defeated Lee Evans 3-0 in the final and produced a superb 102.80 average during the competition. His consistency throughout the evening earned him eight victories and continued an excellent run of recent form.

Lee Evans also impressed, reaching the final while recording a 100.20 average earlier in the tournament.

Jimmy Bristow Wins Strong Bristol Field

One of the strongest events of the evening took place at the Sartan Club in Bristol.

Jimmy Bristow claimed the title after defeating Ashton Brown 3-1 in the final, backing up the form he has shown over recent weeks.

The standard was exceptionally high, with Ryan Palmer, Ashton Brown and Ellis Radford all producing averages in excess of 93 during the evening, highlighting the depth of quality on show.

Pete Hughes Fires Huge Average In Evesham

Pete Hughes produced arguably the performance of the night.

On his way to victory at Bretforton Sports Club, Hughes fired a magnificent 112.73 average, one of the highest averages recorded anywhere in the country on Tuesday.

He defeated Danny Lauby 3-1 in the final, while Joe Quiney continued his consistent form by recording six victories during the evening.

Luke Reed Edges Thriller In Tiverton

The Vault at Elmore Football Club produced one of the closest finals of the night.

Luke Reed edged past Andy Steed 3-2 after both players enjoyed excellent evenings.

The event also featured superb scoring from James Head, Andy Steed and Tom Head, who all recorded impressive 103.66 averages during the competition.

Other South West Highlights

Leighton Cox claimed the title at Chard after defeating Kieran Spurdle in the final, while Matthew Reddy lifted the Bristol Bessellscotts Vault.

Dave Fisher enjoyed another successful evening by winning the Taunton U70 Super Series after defeating James Wellbelove in the final.

Connor Davies also claimed victory at DartAsylum HQ, overcoming Tommy Sperring to lift the Tuesday Night Sub-70 title.

South West Results Round-Up – Palmer & Long Continue Winning Ways

 


Another busy evening saw 25 grassroots tournaments added to the Q4QS database, with several strong performances across Bristol, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the wider South West.

Ryan Palmer Triumphs At DartAsylum HQ

The Thursday Night Round Robin at DartAsylum HQ attracted another competitive field, with Ryan Palmer emerging victorious after defeating John Brown 3-0 in the final.

Palmer enjoyed an outstanding evening, recording eight victories during the tournament and producing a 90.69 average during his semi-final success over Jamie McKinnon.

John Brown also impressed on his way to the final, posting averages of 89.64 and 88.41, while Jamie McKinnon recorded one of the highest averages of the event with 91.09.

Robbie Long Wins At Hangar 61

Another strong field assembled at Hangar 61, where Robbie Long continued his impressive run of form.

Long defeated Lewis Kendall 3-0 in the final, producing a superb 93.94 average earlier in the tournament before finishing strongly with an 86.71 average in the final.

Matt Jackson also enjoyed another excellent evening, recording averages of 91.09 and 86.60 during his run through the competition.

Josh McCarthy Produces The Performance Of The Day

The highest average recorded anywhere in yesterday's Q4QS database came from Josh McCarthy at the MTFC Round Robin.

McCarthy defeated Alan Turnell 3-0 in the final and produced an outstanding 102.48 average, the only three-figure average recorded across the featured South West events.

Craig Gaynor Claims Faringdon Title

Faringdon Town Football Club hosted another successful In Between Cash Competition.

Craig Gaynor defeated Otto Hookham 3-1 in the final and also recorded the highest average of the tournament with 85.52.

Morgan Fowler Victorious At Deers Leap

Morgan Fowler enjoyed an excellent evening at the Deers Leap Under 70 Round Robin.

He defeated Samuel King 4-1 in the final after recording nine victories throughout the event, while Samuel King impressed with two averages above 83 during his run to the final.

Another excellent evening of grassroots darts produced strong performances across the South West, with familiar names collecting titles and several players posting standout averages.

Ashton Brown Wins At Hangar 61

One of the strongest events of the evening took place at Hangar 61, where Ashton Brown emerged victorious after defeating Steve Long 3-2 in a high-quality final.

Brown topped the win charts with eight victories and continued his excellent run of form.

Luke Durham Claims DartAsylum Title

At DartAsylum HQ, Luke Durham lifted the Thursday Night Round Robin title with a 3-0 victory over Nick Chichester in the final.

Durham finished the evening with eight wins and was one of the standout performers of the night.

Shaun Vernall Produces The Performance Of The Day

The highest average recorded in the database came from Shaun Vernall during the John Raphael Memorial Cup.

Vernall fired in a superb 120.24 average on his way to lifting the title after defeating Mitchell Leeming 5-4 in a thrilling final.

Mike Harper Wins In Yeovil

Mike Harper added another title to his collection with victory in the Labour Vault Break at Yeovil Labour Club.

Harper recorded seven wins during the event and defeated Kevin Dalwood 3-0 in the final.

Cody Kibble Leads Gloucester JDC

At JDC Volts Gloucester, Cody Kibble took the title after overcoming Mitchell Atkins 3-2 in the final.

Mitchell Atkins produced one of the highest averages of the event, but Kibble held his nerve to secure the trophy.
