Yesterday’s Darts Results: Ciaran Forde Hits 115.62 as 78 Tournaments Join Q4QS – 6 October 2026

Tuesday was another huge night for the Q4QS database, with 78 tournaments added from across the grassroots game.

The biggest individual average came from Ciaran Forde, who hit a superb 115.62 in Barnsley — and unlike many of the biggest averages I pick out in these reports, he also went on to win the tournament.

Jack Main hit 111.33, while Trevor Burkhill, David Evans, Jack Faragher, Daniel Astbury, Mason Jackson and Dale Thomas all reached 107.36.

There was plenty happening closer to the Q4QS heartland too. Joe Quiney won at Bretforton, Mitchell Atkins took the Widden Rugby Club title in Gloucester, Josh McCarthy won at Wiltshire Darts House, Christopher Staples won in Portishead and Brooklyn Anthony took the Taunton U70 event.

And it was a particularly busy Tuesday for women's darts, with eight WADC Vault events in the results.

Forde combines 115.62 with the Barnsley title

The headline number came at Barnsley WMC.

Ciaran Forde averaged 115.62 in a 2–0 win over Karen Mellor. It wasn't the only huge performance in the tournament either: Trevor Burkhill hit 107.36, while Mason Hale and Damian Corr both reached 100.20.

Forde then completed the night with eight victories, beating Corr 3–1 in the final.

That's exactly the sort of performance that deserves top billing — the biggest average anywhere in the day's results backed up by the tournament win.

Jack Main hits 111.33 and wins at Hethersett

Jack Main produced another of the day's most complete performances.

He hit 111.33 at Hethersett Social Club and also recorded 98.55 before going on to take the title.

Main finished with seven wins and beat Oliver Howard 3–1 in the final.

Charlie Miller's 98.66 and Josh Brown's 96.97 added further quality to a strong tournament.

Archie Self puts together a superb Newbury run

One performance a simple list of the day's biggest averages doesn't fully capture came from Archie Self at the Crucible Sports and Social Club in Newbury.

Self recorded 103.66, 100.20, 100.20 and 93.94 among his leading performances.

He also won seven matches and beat Jason Heaver 3–0 in the final.

Two ton-plus averages would make a good night. Three, followed by the title, makes this one of Tuesday's best all-round tournament performances.

Johnny Haines wins in Eastleigh

Johnny Haines was another player who combined a big number with the title.

At the Locomotive Engineers Social Club in Eastleigh, Haines hit 104.86 and later averaged 94.33 in his 3–1 final victory over Mike Gillet.

Both players finished with seven wins, with Gillet himself producing 96.97 and 95.02 during a strong run.

Joe Quiney takes Bretforton

Back at Bretforton Sports Club, Joe Quiney came through another competitive Tuesday Vault.

Paul Jones produced the biggest average of the tournament with 96.97, but Quiney was the player who lasted the distance.

He beat Danny Lauby 3–1 in the final, averaging 89.70, and finished the event with eight wins.

Jones and Lauby both collected six victories, while Jason Reeve reached 88.41.

Mitchell Atkins wins in Gloucester

There was another local title at Widden Rugby Club, where Mitchell Atkins beat Alfie Palmer 3–1 in the final and finished with seven victories.

Ryan Palmer produced the highest average of the tournament with 91.09, while Atkins reached 90.59 and Joe Bagguley 88.41.

Alfie Palmer finished with six wins and Joe Bagguley five, so there was plenty of depth behind the winner too.

Josh McCarthy takes Wiltshire Darts House

Josh McCarthy had an excellent night in Swindon.

McCarthy hit 93.94 twice, collected eight victories and then beat Danny Humphries 3–0 in the final.

Humphries reached 88.41 during his six-win run, while Wayne Barrett recorded 85.89.

McCarthy's combination of consistency and eight wins makes this another performance worth pulling out from deeper in the results.

Greenslade breaks 100 in Taunton

The graphic rightly picks out Ryan Greenslade's 100.20 at Darts @ The Lawns in Taunton.

The title, though, went to Brooklyn Anthony.

Anthony finished with eight wins and beat James Wellbelove 4–0 in the final. Wellbelove collected seven victories, while Greenslade won five.

It is another good example of why the highest average and the tournament's biggest story are not always the same thing.

Staples wins at Portishead

Christopher Staples took the Tuesday Open at Portishead Workmens Darts, beating Josh Rose 3–0 in the final.

Staples finished with seven wins and recorded a best of 85.89.

Logun Godbeer actually produced the event's biggest average at 88.41 and collected six victories, with Max Maggs and Josh Rose both finishing on five.

Junior Volts produce another huge programme

Tuesday also brought another substantial set of Junior Volts results.

Among the winners were Ashton John at Resolven, Tom Phillips at Ellesmere Port, Jenson Macey at Gosport, Joel Walton at Cannock, Jacob Godber at Yate, Theo Machin at Halesowen, Charlie Ely at Minehead, Charlie Smith at Gillingham, Brendan O'Reilly on the Isle of Wight and Spencer Edwards at Ogmore Vale.

There was some good scoring too, including 81.40 from Logan Ford, 81.24s from Riley Pinhorne, Charlie Ely and Charlie Smith, while Alfie Obrien reached 88.41 in the Calstep Darts Wales Newport Academy Series.

Eight WADC Vaults – and some excellent numbers

Women's darts had a particularly strong presence in Tuesday's results with eight WADC Vault 3.0 events.

The winners included Sue Davies at Denbigh, Leanne Topper at Prestatyn, Amanda Harwood at Dereham, Keri Stinton at Leominster, Eve Watson at Port Talbot, Lily Childs-Crowley at North Walsham and Dannie Hughes at Wiltshire Darts House. The Church Wicketts event was also recorded, although the export couldn't reliably detect its winner from the available match rows.

There were some particularly eye-catching performances too.

Leanne Topper hit 91.09 on her way to winning at Prestatyn, while Amanda Harwood reached 88.41 and won at Dereham.

At Port Talbot, Eve Watson put together perhaps the deepest WADC performance of the day: 81.24, 78.96, 77.08 and 75.15, winning all four of her recorded matches and taking the title.

At Wiltshire Darts House, Katie Mullis hit 75.15, with Dani Kearns recording 69.91 and 68.09.

Five performances that caught my eye

1. Ciaran Forde – 115.62 and Barnsley title
The day's highest average, eight wins and the tournament victory.

2. Jack Main – 111.33 and Hethersett title
Another huge average backed up by winning the tournament.

3. Archie Self – 103.66, 100.20, 100.20 and Newbury title
Possibly the deepest scoring performance of the day.

4. David Evans – 107.36 and Leyland title
Eight wins, a 107.36 and a 3–0 victory in the final.

5. Eve Watson – 81.24, 78.96, 77.08, 75.15 and Port Talbot WADC title
Four excellent performances and four wins.

Another 78 tournaments into Q4QS

Tuesday was another example of just how much is going on below the professional game.

There were huge averages, established names, local winners, Junior Volts, eight WADC events and performances worth noticing well beyond the players who simply topped the average charts.

78 more tournaments also means another substantial block of matches feeding into the Q4QS rankings, player records, venue histories and form data.

And there will be plenty more hidden in there to dig into.

Yesterday’s Darts Results: David Evans and Harley Lewis-Rowlands Hit 111.33 – 5 October 2026

Another 52 tournaments went into Q4QS from Monday, and although it was a smaller programme than Sunday's 104, there was no shortage of quality.

David Evans and Harley Lewis-Rowlands both produced 111.33 averages, while Kurt Parry, Matt Clark and Daniel Wilkinson all reached 107.36. Marc Wilkinson and Lee Evans added 103.66s, while Kevin Leadenham topped 102 at Sleaford.

Closer to the Q4QS heartland, Jayden Walker produced a superb 100.20 in the Junior Volts at Stratford Social Club, Pete Hughes won at Bengeworth, Danny Humphries took the Salisbury Vault and Scott Mc won at North Star in Calne.

There were also eight WADC Vault 3.0 events, including Heather Toney winning in Plymouth.

David Evans produces a huge Longridge performance

One of Monday's strongest overall displays came at Wilfrids Club in Longridge.

David Evans hit 111.33 and 109.98, then added 104.86 against Daniel Wilkinson. Wilkinson himself produced a 107.36.

More importantly, Evans completed the job. He finished with eight victories and beat Andy An 3-2 in the final.

When someone produces three averages above 104 and also takes the title, it is difficult to look much further for one of the performances of the day.

Harley Lewis-Rowlands hits 111.33 and wins in Runcorn

There was another 111.33 at The Lockdown Bar and Kitchen.

Harley Lewis-Rowlands hit 111.33 against Chris Hildige and went on to win the tournament, beating Charlie Cooper 3-0 in the final.

Cooper also reached 100.20 during his run and actually finished with seven wins, the same number as Lewis-Rowlands.

Again, though, the big average was backed up by the tournament victory.

Three more players reach 107.36

The 107 club was busy on Monday.

Kurt Parry hit 107.36 at the Clive Arms in Cardiff, although Edward Manley eventually won the tournament with seven victories.

At Rogue Sports Bar in Bolton, Matt Clark produced 107.36 and 100.20. Clark won six matches, but Eric Bromley took the title with a 3-2 final victory over him.

And at Longridge, Daniel Wilkinson joined them with 107.36 before running into David Evans, who averaged 104.86 in their match.

Lee Evans puts together a big Andover run

Another performance worth digging out came at the Wolversdene Club in Andover.

Lee Evans hit 103.66, 98.02, 93.94 and two 91.09s during an eight-win tournament.

Unlike several of Monday's biggest average hitters, Evans also finished the night as champion, beating Jack Steer 3-0 in the final.

That is a very strong block of form across one event rather than a single eye-catching average.

Jayden Walker hits 100.20 in Salisbury

The junior performance of the day came at Stratford Social Club.

Jayden Walker hit 100.20 during the Junior Volts event and went on to take the title with eight victories, beating Zachary Petty 3-1 in the final.

Walker also recorded 80.43, 79.11 and 77.08.

A three-figure average in junior competition is always going to catch the eye, but combining it with eight wins and the tournament victory makes this much more than a one-match story.

Pete Hughes takes Bengeworth

There was another good night at the Bengeworth Club in Evesham.

Shaun Vernall produced the highest average at 96.97, followed by a 90.18, while Vince Tipple reached 88.77.

But Pete Hughes was the man who came through the field. Hughes won seven matches and beat Danny Lauby 3-0 in the final.

Lauby finished with six wins, while Hughes also recorded an 88.22 during his run.

Danny Humphries wins at Stratford Social Club

There was a second tournament at Stratford Social Club, with Danny Humphries taking the Vault title.

Humphries beat Martin Haines 3-0 in the final and finished with six victories. Carlton Hope produced the tournament's highest average at 88.41, while Humphries and Jon Shergold both reached 85.08.

Liam Glister was another to have a good night, collecting five wins and hitting 81.24.

Scott Mc wins at North Star

At North Star Club in Calne, Scott Mc took the title, beating Declan Cox 3-0 in the final and finishing with seven victories.

The biggest number there came from Rich Griffee with 96.97. Griffee also collected six wins, as did Cox, while Josh McCarthy hit 88.41.

Eight WADC Vaults

Women's darts was again well represented, with eight WADC Vault 3.0 events in Monday's export.

The winners were Emma Tapp in Shrewsbury, Jane Robson in Birkenhead, Remi Martin in Bletchley, Heather Toney in Plymouth, Gaynor Jones in Swansea, Joanne Oldershaw in Newark, Lynsey Childs in Norwich and Jo Clements in Preston.

Jo Clements produced the highest WADC average of the day with 73.32, hitting it twice on her way to five wins and the Preston title.

Joanne Oldershaw reached 67.98 and 64.41 at Newark, while Heather Toney won in Plymouth after beating Hayley Brant 3-1 in the final.

Five performances that caught my eye

1. David Evans – 111.33, 109.98 and the Longridge title
Three averages above 104 and eight wins makes this my performance of the day.

2. Harley Lewis-Rowlands – 111.33 and the Runcorn title
A huge peak backed up by seven victories and the tournament win.

3. Lee Evans – 103.66 and the Andover title
The depth is what stands out: 103.66, 98.02, 93.94 and two 91.09s.

4. Jayden Walker – 100.20 and Junior Volts title
A three-figure junior average followed by an eight-win tournament victory.

5. Matt Clark – 107.36 and 100.20 in Bolton
He didn't quite take the title, but two three-figure averages deserve recognition.

Another 52 tournaments added

Monday added another varied batch of results to Q4QS: big numbers at the top end, strong tournament-winning performances, Junior Volts, established local venues and another eight WADC events.

And once again, some of the most interesting stories weren't necessarily attached to the single highest average.

MODUS Super Series Week 7 Preview: A Field Full of Form

The MODUS Super Series returns for Week 7, and this might be one of those weeks where simply looking at the names – or indeed the early bookmaker prices – doesn't tell the whole story.

The 12-player field contains plenty of experience, with the likes of David Evans, Benito van de Pas, Keegan Brown, Richie Howson and Fallon Sherrock, but when I look through the latest Q4QS data there are some fascinating form stories elsewhere in the field.

In fact, several players arrive in Portsmouth having been almost impossible to beat in recent weeks.

And that could make Week 7 considerably more open than it initially appears.

Cooper arrives on a remarkable run

If I'm looking purely at recent form, Henry Cooper is impossible to ignore.

Cooper is currently Q4QS ranked No.516 with an 83.68 Q4QS Average, but it's his recent tournament record that really catches the eye.

His last five recorded events read:

Finalist – Winner – Winner – Winner – Winner.

Two of those victories came with extraordinary tournament averages of 92.33 and 93.95, while he has subsequently started Vault 19 by winning twice at The Newtown in Poole.

There are some huge individual performances in there too – including 109.98 and 104.86 match averages.

Cooper arrives in Portsmouth 10–0 across his latest ten recorded matches.

That's some way to enter a MODUS week.

Spivey leads the Q4QS rankings

While Cooper has the eye-catching recent results, Sam Spivey is actually the highest Q4QS-ranked player in the Week 7 field.

Spivey sits at Q4QS No.159 with an 85.42 Q4QS Average.

His recent win/loss record isn't as spectacular at 5–5, but the scoring numbers show the threat. His recent Challenge Tour event averages include 84.55, 87.99 and 81.00, while an ADC Championship South run included a 93.43 match average.

In a week containing plenty of players in excellent winning form, Spivey's underlying scoring numbers make him one of the obvious benchmarks.

Keegan Brown keeps winning

Keegan Brown provides a very different form line.

The former PDC Tour Card holder is 9–1 across his latest ten recorded matches, and there have been plenty of trophies along the way.

Brown won a Vault 18 event at Hotshots with an 86.14 tournament average, including individual performances of 95.94 and 93.90.

More recently, he won a Vault 19 event on the Isle of Wight before going 9–0 to win the Isle of Wight Grand Prix 3.

He's clearly arriving knowing how to get tournaments won.

One of the most interesting players could be 26.00

Perhaps my favourite storyline of the entire Week 7 field belongs to Ben Flanagan-McClelland.

There isn't quite enough data yet for a full Q4QS Average – he's currently at five of the six qualifying events required – but what is there is extremely interesting.

His recent results include a MODUS Super Series Qualifier quarter-final, a Midlands Vault Series 17 MODUS Super Series Qualifier victory, a final and then another tournament win.

That latest victory came in Vault 19 at The Cue Club in South Wigston.

Flanagan-McClelland went 8–0 and averaged 86.72, with individual performances including 83.76, 83.50, 80.93 and 91.09.

He's currently 10–0.

We'll come back to him when we look at the bookmaker market.

Steve Green's consistency stands out

Steve Green doesn't have quite the same string of titles, but his numbers might be among the most consistent in the field.

Green has an 84.04 Q4QS Average and is 8–2 across his latest ten.

His recent ADC Championship South tournament averages include:

85.16 – 87.22 – 82.74 – 84.21.

He's also produced a 91.50 individual match average.

Those aren't isolated peaks. Green has repeatedly been operating in roughly the same scoring territory, and that consistency could be important across a MODUS week.

Sherrock arrives with plenty of deep runs

Fallon Sherrock brings another strong recent record.

Sherrock is 8–2 across her latest ten and recently won PDC Women's Series Event 18, going 7–0 with an 83.51 tournament average.

Since then, the deep runs have continued.

Her latest five recorded events include a Last 32, quarter-final, two finals and another quarter-final. Her latest tournament was one of those finals, where she averaged 82.67 before losing to Deta Hedman.

She therefore arrives with both scoring form and plenty of experience of playing important matches late in tournaments.

Don't overlook Pete Hughes

It's difficult to find many players anywhere with a recent tournament record much better than Pete Hughes.

His latest five read:

Winner – Winner – Winner – Finalist – Winner.

He's 9–1 across his latest ten recorded matches and has already started Vault 19 with victories at Bridley Moor and The Cue Corner, either side of a final at Bengeworth.

His recent tournament averages include 82.02, 82.64 and 80.02, while he's also produced a remarkable 104.86 individual average in a win over Shaun Vernall.

Hughes doesn't make my Six to Follow – which probably demonstrates the problem I had choosing only six this week.

What about the favourite?

The bookmakers have installed David Evans as the early 4.50 favourite.

There is certainly enough in the Q4QS data to show why Evans commands respect. He's ranked No.281 with an 82.65 Q4QS Average, and recent Challenge Tour performances include tournament averages of 91.73, 86.01 and 84.09.

However, his latest ten recorded matches stand at 4–6, and his most recent Challenge Tour appearance ended at 72.53.

So there is certainly some contrast between the market position and the most recent results.

That doesn't mean the market is necessarily wrong – but it does make the comparison interesting.

Do the odds tell the whole story?

I'm not turning Q4QS into a tipping site, but the early bookmaker market is worth mentioning this week because it looks rather different from some of the patterns in my database.

The early prices have David Evans at 4.50, followed by Benito van de Pas at 6.00 and Sam Spivey at 6.50.

Further down come Richie Howson at 8.00, Henry Cooper at 9.50, Keegan Brown at 11.00, Pete Hughes at 12.00 and Steve Green at 13.00.

But then things become particularly interesting.

Fallon Sherrock is 21.00 despite arriving 8–2 with a recent Women's Series victory.

And Ben Flanagan-McClelland is 26.00 despite being 10–0 and coming straight from an unbeaten tournament victory averaging 86.72.

Perhaps the bookmakers have priced this one correctly. Perhaps they haven't.

But the Q4QS numbers certainly suggest Week 7 could be considerably more competitive than the prices at the top of the market imply.

There is an important caveat. Q4QS currently has no matching data in this export for Benito van de Pas or Kai Fan Leung, so I can't make the same data comparison for those two players.

Six Players to Follow

🎯 Henry Cooper

Four wins in his latest five tournaments

The form player of the field. Cooper has won four consecutive recorded tournaments, has recently produced event averages of 92.33 and 93.95 and arrives 10–0.

🎯 Sam Spivey

The highest-ranked Q4QS player in Week 7

Q4QS No.159 with an 85.42 Average. The recent results have been mixed, but the scoring ceiling remains extremely high.

🎯 Keegan Brown

Titles are becoming a habit

Brown arrives 9–1 with multiple recent tournament victories, including an 86.14-average Vault win.

🎯 Steve Green

Perhaps the most consistent scorer in the field

An 84.04 Q4QS Average and a sequence of recent ADC tournament averages consistently sitting in the 82–87 range.

🎯 Ben Flanagan-McClelland

The fascinating outsider

Currently 10–0 and fresh from an unbeaten Vault 19 victory with an 86.72 tournament average. One of the most interesting stories of Week 7.

🎯 Fallon Sherrock

Winning and going deep

A recent Women's Series champion who has continued reaching finals and quarter-finals since. Sherrock arrives 8–2 and in strong scoring form.

A difficult week to call

There are still unknowns here.

Q4QS doesn't currently have sufficient data to properly assess Benito van de Pas or Kai Fan Leung, while Richie Howson's available sample is also extremely limited – just one qualifying event in this particular dataset.

Panagiotis Chrysospathis is another with a relatively small Q4QS sample, although the database does contain recent international competition from Romania and Cyprus.

That's why I wouldn't simply rearrange the bookmaker market according to Q4QS ranking and declare that the answer.

What the database does show is just how much winning form there is among several players sitting outside the favourites.

Cooper: 10–0.
Flanagan-McClelland: 10–0.
Brown: 9–1.
Hughes: 9–1.
Green: 8–2.
Sherrock: 8–2.

That's an awful lot of confidence arriving in Portsmouth at the same time.

The bookmakers may have their favourites.

The recent results suggest MODUS Super Series Week 7 might not be quite that simple.
