Saturday delivered another excellent day of grassroots darts across the South West, with open competitions, local tournaments and ADC events producing another packed programme of quality action.
From Gloucester and Street to Shaftesbury, Taunton and Somerset, several familiar names were once again among the winners, with some outstanding individual performances throughout the day.
Johnny Haines Wins Prestigious Widden Open
The headline performance came at the Widden Open, where Johnny Haines produced another outstanding display to lift one of the biggest local titles of the weekend.
Haines fired a superb 97.60 average during the competition before completing a dominant day's work. Shaun Vernall also impressed throughout the event, recording averages in the mid-80s as another strong Gloucestershire field produced an excellent standard.
Steve Boundy Claims Thatchers Fusion Round Robin
The latest Thatchers Fusion Round Robin Special once again attracted a strong field.
Steve Boundy came through to take the title after another consistent day's darts. Leon Taylor posted the highest average of the event with 91.09, while Ryan Oakley and Keith Norris also enjoyed excellent runs.
Dave Fisher Continues Strong Summer
At the Street Darts Organisation Week 4 Open, Dave Fisher added another title to his growing collection.
Fisher topped the averages with 91.09 and continued the excellent form that has seen him become one of Somerset's most consistent performers over recent weeks. Adrian Wood also featured prominently with another strong tournament performance.
Tommy Chinnock Wins Under-50 Event
The Street Darts Organisation Under-50 competition produced another competitive field.
Tommy Chinnock emerged victorious after a consistent afternoon, adding another title to an increasingly impressive season.
Chris Roberts Takes Shaftesbury Monthly
The monthly competition at Shaftesbury Football Club saw Chris Roberts claim the title after an excellent day's darts.
Steve Stone, Grayson "The Grenade" and Ant Dyke all enjoyed strong runs as another competitive Dorset event lived up to expectations.
