Yesterday’s Darts Results: 40 Tournaments, Huge Averages & Monday’s Winners – 7 September 2026

Monday was a huge night for the Q4QS database, with 40 tournaments added from across the grassroots game. The latest round of Vault action made up a large part of the programme, with events stretching across the country, while several players produced averages comfortably above the 100 mark.

The highest of the night belonged to Mark Stafford, who fired in a superb 112.69, while Adam Beck, Ronnie Sumner and Paul Hogan all reached 111.33.

Stafford combines 112.69 with Bexhill title

Mark Stafford produced Monday's highest recorded average on the way to winning Vault 19.0 at Sidley Working Men's Club in Bexhill.

Stafford's 112.69 came in a 2–1 victory over Darren Gale. He went on to take the tournament with eight wins, beating Adrian Gray 3–0 in the final.

Martin leads the way in Salisbury

There was an excellent night at Stratford Social Club in Salisbury, where Robbie Martin took the Vault title.

Martin defeated Danny Humphries 3–1 in the final, producing a 100.68 average in the decider. Humphries averaged 98.35 despite the defeat, while Ryan Furness also impressed with 96.97. Martin finished with eight wins from the night.

Allen takes Evesham title

Antony Allen enjoyed a dominant night at the Bengeworth Club in Evesham, finishing with eight victories and the tournament title.

Allen defeated Reece Pinches 3–0 in the final and recorded a best average of 98.02. He also produced two 85.89 performances during his run, including one against Danny Lauby.

Self beats Hogan in Basingstoke thriller

One of the strongest tournaments for outright scoring came at The Academy in Basingstoke.

Paul Hogan hit 111.33, but it was Archie Self who eventually took the title, beating Hogan 3–2 in the final with a 107.96 average. Self had already broken the ton barrier with a 100.20 earlier in the competition.

Cleave comes through in Paignton

Finlay Cleave was another winner to combine a title with a ton-plus performance.

Cleave won Vault 19.0 at 8 Ball Bar & Sports in Paignton, beating Leigh Bowman 3–1 in the final. His best performance was a 103.66 average against Jesse Cavanagh, while Alfie Hutton reached 96.97. Cleave and Bowman both recorded seven wins.

More South West and local success

There was plenty more to pick out around the Q4QS core coverage.

At North Star Club in Calne, Scott Mc continued a good run by taking the title with a 3–1 final win over Gary Hiscock. Declan Cox produced the tournament's best average at 103.66, with Hiscock reaching 95.88.

At Shooters Bar in Leominster, Chris Hurds beat Alec Mccready 3–0 in the final, with Hurds also producing the tournament's highest average of 90.18.

Minehead also featured in Monday's Vault programme, where David Farmer defeated Dan Williams 3–2 to take the title. Jack Walker led the averages there with 91.44.

Ton-plus performances around the country

Monday's scoring wasn't confined to the tournament winners.

Adam Beck hit 111.33 at Newark, although Neil Ward eventually took the title.

Ronnie Sumner also averaged 111.33 at Southwick, with Lewis Gurney going on to win the event, while Tyler Garrett and Alex Ward both recorded 107.36 elsewhere during the night's Vault action.

Stuart Dutton also recorded 107.36 at Riverside Club, Wycombe.

There was another ton-plus showing from Neil Wild, who hit 100.20 at Bostin Darts 180 Bar, where Michael Powell took the title. Sion Thomas also recorded 100.20 at Cardigan.

Monday’s top ten individual averages

  1. Mark Stafford — 112.69, Sidley Working Men's Club, Bexhill
  2. Adam Beck — 111.33, Newark Railway Sports & Social Club
  3. Ronnie Sumner — 111.33, Southwick Sports and Social Club

ADC Winmau Tour Championship South Returns – Who Can Make Their Mark This Weekend?

The ADC Winmau Tour Championship South returns this weekend, 8th-9th August, with another two days of action and a strong field preparing to battle it out.

With eight South events already completed during 2026, we now have something we didn't have at the beginning of the season: a meaningful body of evidence.

Who consistently goes deep in these tournaments? Who appears particularly comfortable in this environment? And, just as importantly, who arrives this weekend in the best form away from the Championship?

For this preview, Q4QS has combined results from the previous eight South events with its wider player database to look at both Championship South consistency and current form.

And they don't necessarily point towards the same players.

Who Has Performed Best in the South Events?

To measure consistency across the previous Championship South tournaments, I've created a simple Q4QS points system based on how far each player progressed in each event.

These are not official ADC ranking points or official Championship standings. They are a Q4QS measure designed purely to identify the players who have consistently gone deepest across the South events played so far.

The leading ten are:

PlayerQ4QS South Performance Score
Lloyd Pennell27
Chas Barstow27
Ashley Coleman25
Mark Stafford25
Archie Self25
Robbie Martin24
Matt Gallett23
Michael Wiles23
Harrison Leigh22
Jack Main22

Rather than showing one dominant player, the numbers reveal just how competitive the series has been.

Only five points separate first from tenth.

Barstow and Pennell Lead Through Different Routes

Chas Barstow and Lloyd Pennell sit together at the top of the Q4QS measure, but they have got there in different ways.

Barstow has already captured a Championship South title and, perhaps even more significantly for this weekend, his wider form is excellent. The Q4QS database currently shows him winning his last ten recorded matches, with several recent tournament victories elsewhere.

Pennell's South record has been built more around consistency. He reached the final of Event 3 and has continued accumulating solid finishes across the series.

They demonstrate why looking beyond tournament victories can be useful. Winning titles matters, but repeatedly putting yourself into the latter stages says plenty too.

Is Mark Stafford Due One?

Perhaps nobody illustrates that better than Mark Stafford.

Stafford reached the final of both Event 7 and Event 8, averaging 84.52 and 83.96 respectively across those tournaments.

He also arrives with nine wins from his last ten recorded matches.

He hasn't yet converted one of those Championship South runs into a title, but two consecutive finals suggest he has been getting extremely close.

If there is a player knocking particularly loudly on the door, Stafford has a strong claim.

Archie Self and Ashley Coleman Remain Major Threats

Archie Self is another player whose South record is backed up by strong performances elsewhere.

Recent Development Tour results include a quarter-final and semi-final, while he has also won a Vault event with a 90.52 tournament average. His last-ten record stands at 9-1.

Ashley Coleman, meanwhile, sits alongside Stafford and Self on 25 points in my South performance measure.

His recent record includes Vault victories at Leighton Buzzard and Hemel Hempstead, while the database gives him an overall average of 85.97.

These are players who have already shown they can negotiate the Championship South environment.

But there is another question to ask.

Who does the wider Q4QS data like this weekend?

Q4QS Six Players to Watch

My tournament preview generator analyses the wider database rather than simply selecting players from previous Championship South results.

That produced a very different-looking six:

1. Daniel Lee

Daniel Lee heads the Q4QS Six to Follow.

The database gives him an 83% win rate within the generator's analysed sample, alongside a best recorded average of 98.02.

He may not be one of the names at the very top of my South performance table, but that's precisely why combining the two approaches is useful. Current and wider form can identify threats that previous results at Bradmoor Farm alone might miss.

2. Dom Taylor

Dom Taylor brings one of the strongest statistical profiles in the field.

His analysed 86% win rate is accompanied by a best recorded average of 104.86, demonstrating the scoring level he can reach.

If Taylor finds his upper range this weekend, he has the numbers of a serious contender.

3. Vince Tipple

Perhaps the most eye-catching number among the six belongs to Vince Tipple.

His best recorded average in the database is 107.36, alongside a 77% win rate in the generator's sample.

Tournament darts isn't decided by a player's best performance, of course, but that ceiling demonstrates what Tipple is capable of producing.

4. Josh McCarthy

South West followers may be particularly familiar with Josh McCarthy, and his recent form makes him difficult to ignore.

McCarthy has been winning and reaching finals regularly in Vault competition, including a title at Stonehouse with an 89.53 event average.

The generator gives him an 88% win rate, making him one of the strongest form selections among the six.

5. Steve West

Steve West brings experience alongside some impressive numbers.

His generator profile shows an 83% win rate and a best recorded average of 120.24.

Recent Q4QS data also shows a Vault victory at the Phoenix Club followed by another final and semi-final there.

He is another player capable of becoming very dangerous if he establishes momentum.

6. Pete Hughes

Completing the six is Pete Hughes.

An 86% win rate in the generator's analysed data immediately puts him among the players worth tracking, while a best recorded average of 118.66 shows the scoring ceiling is there too.

Like several players in this six, his selection is driven by the wider numbers rather than simply what has happened in the Championship South series.

And that's exactly the point.

Two Different Ways of Finding a Winner

This weekend gives us an interesting test.

On one side we have the Championship South specialists: players such as Chas Barstow, Lloyd Pennell, Mark Stafford, Archie Self and Ashley Coleman, whose results across the first eight events suggest they repeatedly thrive in these tournaments.

On the other are the players highlighted by the wider Q4QS analysis: Daniel Lee, Dom Taylor, Vince Tipple, Josh McCarthy, Steve West and Pete Hughes.

There is no guarantee either group provides the winner.

Tournament darts rarely works that neatly.

But combining previous performance in this particular series with a player's wider form gives us a much fuller picture than looking at either measure in isolation.

After eight events, we know considerably more about the Championship South than we did at the start of 2026.

This weekend should tell us even more.

Will one of the established Bradmoor Farm performers strengthen their record?

Will Mark Stafford finally turn those deep runs into a title?

Can Chas Barstow maintain his remarkable recent form?

Or will one of the Q4QS Six to Follow break through and change the picture completely?
