Saturday brought another varied day of grassroots darts, with 26 tournaments added to the Q4QS database.
The scoring headline belonged to Scott Baker, who produced a superb 120.24 average at the Squalla Cup, while Sam Morris hit 115.62 and both Stuart Dutton and Lee Evans reached 107.36.
Evans combines 107.36 with the title
Lee Evans produced one of Saturday’s strongest all-round performances at Challow British Legion.
Evans hit a 107.36 average, followed it with 102.48 and 100.20, and then went on to take the title with a 3–1 final victory over Ross Norton.
He finished the event with eight victories, making it one of the most complete tournament performances of the day.
Tweddell wins huge Aylesbury event
There were 85 matches recorded at Aylesbury Darts Events, where Jack Tweddell came through a deep field to win the Undisputed Night – Afternoon Round Robin.
Tweddell beat Sean Holley 5–2 in the final and collected nine wins across the competition.
The biggest average at the venue came from Stuart Dutton, who fired 107.36 and also added a 102.07. Tweddell’s best performance was an excellent 99.68.
Baker fires 120.24 at Samba
The single biggest average of Saturday came at the Squalla Cup at Samba Darts Academy.
Scott Baker produced a huge 120.24 average in a 2–0 victory over Josh Upton.
The title eventually went to Olly Garratt, who finished with eight wins and beat Nick Whitehouse 3–0 in the final.
Morris hits 115.62
There was another exceptional number at Inn On The Green, where Sam Morris averaged 115.62 against Ed Bratby.
The tournament itself was won by Jamie Chaplin, who beat Jake B-Smith 3–2 in the final and finished with eight victories.
Daniel Astbury also enjoyed a strong night with three separate averages above 88.
Garrett celebrates with a title
Tyler Garrett won Archie's 16th Birthday Bash at Out Out Bar, beating Cody Vodden 4–0 in the final.
Garrett finished with seven victories and dominated the tournament averages, topping them with a 96.97 and also recording 88.41, 86.71 and 83.50.
Pickles takes Nambucca Vault
At Nambucca in London, Stuart Pickles collected eight victories on the way to the Vault 19.0 title.
Pickles beat Jamie Davis 3–2 in the final, with a best average of 85.89.
John Nelson produced the tournament’s highest average at 93.94 and also finished with six victories.
Levett wins at Worthing
Connor Levett produced a strong and consistent night at John Selden in Worthing.
Levett beat Kai Highams 3–1 in the final, finished with seven victories and topped the averages with an 87.00.
He also recorded 81.24 and 80.08 during the event.
Soroko wins Rose Bowl
At Lindsay Constitutional Club, Andre Soroko took the Rose Bowl annual members tournament.
Soroko defeated Robert Cuddihy 3–0 in the final and also topped the tournament averages with 88.41.
He finished with six wins, ahead of Allan Griffiths and Andy Davies on four.
Keegan Brown takes Isle of Wight Grand Prix
The Isle of Wight Grand Prix 3 produced one of Saturday’s larger competitions, with 96 matches recorded.
Keegan Brown came through to win the title, beating Daryl Hunt 3–2 in the final and finishing with nine victories.
Hunt produced the strongest average of the tournament at 92.56, while Tom McInnes also enjoyed a strong day with eight wins.
