Another busy day of grassroots darts produced plenty of talking points across the South West, with youth talent shining in Bridgwater, a successful pairs event in Evesham, and another strong performance from Owen Emmett-Bowden in Shaftesbury.
Warren Rixon Continues Impressive Form
The standout local performance came at the BDA Under 18 Series in Bridgwater.
Warren Rixon produced an excellent display throughout the event, winning seven matches and defeating Jack Hughes 2-0 in the final. Brandon Ayres, Bobby George Climo and Aiden Langdon were also among the players to impress during another strong youth event.
Evesham Family Fortunes Delivers
The Family Fortunes competition in Evesham attracted a competitive field, with Zak Edmunds and Aaron Edmunds emerging victorious after defeating Matt Metro and Ben Metro 4-3 in the final.
Shaun Vernall and Kieran V also enjoyed strong runs during the event, while Cameron Oram and Ricky Oram were among the other pairs making an impact.
Owen Emmett-Bowden Wins In Shaftesbury
The Money In SFC competition at Shaftesbury Football Club saw Owen Emmett-Bowden lift the title after defeating Ben Collins 3-0 in the final.
Both players enjoyed excellent evenings, with Collins continuing his strong recent form by reaching yet another final. Jake Carton produced the highest average of the event with an impressive 88.41.
Shaun Vernall Keeps Delivering
While he narrowly missed out on a title, Shaun Vernall once again featured prominently across the day's action.
Vernall reached another final, recorded nine match victories and continued to show why he remains one of the most consistent performers in the South West grassroots scene.
