Yesterday's Darts Results: Beau Greaves Wins Twice, Daniel Astbury Hits 111.33 and Carl Batchelor Takes Memorial Open – 10 October 2026

Saturday produced another fascinating day of competitive darts, with 26 tournaments added to the Q4QS database.

The headline individual performance came from Daniel Astbury, who recorded a superb 111.33 average at The Church Wicketts in Dawley. But there were plenty of other stories, including a double triumph for Beau Greaves on the PDC Women's Series, a dominant display from Carl Batchelor at the Nigel Birch Memorial Open and another impressive title for Pete Hughes.

There was also a WADC tournament in Wallasey, three Junior Volts events and a busy Portsmouth Saturday Series.

One of the things I enjoy about these daily roundups is the variety. On the same day, we're looking at international-standard women's darts, highly competitive open tournaments, regular Vault events and youngsters taking their first steps in competitive darts.

Astbury hits 111.33 and takes Dawley title

The highest average in Saturday's results belonged to Daniel Astbury at The Church Wicketts in Dawley.

Astbury recorded 111.33 against Brandon Jones, adding averages of 93.94 against Steve Jones Wasp and 91.09 against Ace Lumantas.

Those are three excellent performances in the same competition.

He eventually defeated Jake B-Smith 3–1 in the final, finishing with eight victories.

B-Smith collected seven wins, while Nathan Grice finished with six.

Paul Rowley also impressed at Dawley, recording averages of 100.20 and 93.94.

Interestingly, Astbury's final opponent had also enjoyed a successful evening elsewhere.

Jake B-Smith wins at Shrewsbury and reaches another final

At the Inn On The Green in Shrewsbury, Jake B-Smith collected eight victories and defeated Paul Rowley 3–0 in the final.

B-Smith recorded a 96.97 average against Rowley, while Rowley himself produced a superb 102.48 against Soxy O Callaghan.

Rowley also hit 91.80 and twice recorded 88.41.

B-Smith therefore appears in Saturday's results as both a tournament winner and a runner-up at two separate Vault events.

That's a particularly noteworthy day's work, although the data doesn't establish the precise running order of the two competitions.

Beau Greaves completes PDC Women's Series double

The biggest story away from the grassroots Vault circuit was another remarkable day for Beau Greaves.

At the PDC Women's Series, Greaves won both Event 21 and Event 22.

In Event 21, she defeated Vicky Pruim 5–3 in the final after producing a brilliant 101.55 average in her 5–0 victory over Rhian O'Sullivan.

She also recorded 93.94 against Ruby Grey and 93.50 against Aileen de Graaf.

Gemma Hayter produced 91.69 against Lindsey Ashton, while O'Sullivan recorded 91.59 against Natalie Gilbert.

Greaves then returned for Event 22 and defeated Gemma Hayter 5–3 in the final, averaging 92.44, with Hayter responding with an excellent 90.51.

That made it two tournament titles in a single day.

The wider significance was considerable too. Saturday's results came during the final Women's Series weekend, with World Championship qualification places still a major talking point.

It's another example of the extraordinary standard at the top of the women's game. Greaves continues to set the benchmark, but there is considerable quality throughout these fields.

Carl Batchelor dominates Nigel Birch Memorial Open

One of the performances that really stood out to me came at the 3rd Nigel Birch Memorial Open.

Carl Batchelor recorded two separate 100.20 averages, against Jake Jones and Tim Ely.

He then produced 94.98 in the final against James Richardson, winning the match 6–1.

Batchelor also recorded 86.21 against Michael Cooper and finished with six victories.

Richardson collected four wins on his way to the final, while Jon Platt reached 91.25 during the tournament.

Batchelor's figures are particularly impressive because he didn't just produce one outstanding match. He delivered quality throughout his run and finished it with a convincing final victory.

For me, that's one of Saturday's strongest overall tournament performances.

Pete Hughes wins at Wych Elm as Craddock hits 107.36

The Wych Elm event in Burntwood produced another excellent collection of averages.

Mark Craddock recorded 107.36 against Lisa Morley and followed it with 100.20 against David Barnett (Willett).

Despite those impressive figures, Craddock didn't take the title.

That went to Pete Hughes, who recorded 103.66 against Charlie Gibson and added 88.41 and 85.89 in other matches.

Hughes finished with eight victories and defeated Ryan Herrington 3–1 in the final.

Herrington recorded seven wins, while Nath Coley collected six.

Another event showing why the biggest individual average and the tournament winner aren't always the same player.

Lleyton Molyneux leads the way in Wallasey

At Great Float Social Club in Wallasey, Lleyton Molyneux produced one of the most impressive Vault-winning performances of the day.

Molyneux averaged 98.02 against Dylan Blackwell and added 83.50, 81.33 and 81.24.

He eventually defeated Ellis Hancock 3–2 in the final, finishing with eight victories.

Hancock collected seven wins, while Luke Humphreys recorded six.

It was a strong event, and Molyneux's combination of high scoring and consistency deservedly puts him among Saturday's leading performers.

WADC: Jennifer Taylor wins at Great Float

There was also a women's Vault event at the same Wallasey venue.

The WADC Vault 3.0 at Great Float Social Club recorded 15 matches, with Jennifer Taylor defeating Pam Courts 3–2 in the final.

Both players finished with four victories.

Courts produced the highest recorded average of the competition at 48.48, while Taylor recorded 48.38, 46.25 and 45.81.

Lizzie Hackett and Victoria Simmonds each collected two victories.

I've said before that I think it's important to give these competitions proper coverage, regardless of field size or the averages involved.

The WADC doesn't need every tournament to feature 80 or 90 averages to justify its place in competitive darts.

The important thing is that there is an organised competition, players are getting meaningful match experience, and another venue is providing an opportunity for women to compete.

And with the regular Vault also taking place at Great Float, this is exactly the sort of setup I'd like to see more venues consider.

Welsh Vault results: Bargoed and Neath

There were two further Vault winners in Wales worth highlighting.

At Butters Bar in Bargoed, Edward Manley defeated Gareth Hughes 3–1 in the final, finishing with eight victories.

Manley recorded 85.89 and 81.24, while Martin Lynch reached 85.08 and Liam Cook hit 83.50.

At Shooter's SportsBar in Neath, Les Morgan won the tournament against Lee Oneill, taking the final 3–1 and finishing with seven victories.

The biggest average in Neath came from Stephen Cake, who hit 96.97 against Ashley Lewis, followed by 90.19 and 88.41.

Timothy Jones also impressed, recording 90.18 against Cake and collecting six wins.

Two different tournaments, with strong scoring and plenty of competitive matches.

Portsmouth Phoenix Saturday Series attracts a big field

The Portsmouth Phoenix Saturday Series Event 2 was one of the busiest competitions in Saturday's export, with 155 matches recorded.

Samuel Palmer won the tournament, defeating Shane Williams 5–4 in the final.

Palmer finished with ten victories, while Williams collected eight.

Daniel Eade, Adam Lipscombe and Danny Smith each recorded seven wins.

The highest individual average belonged to Marvin Meal, who hit 96.97 against Frank Wilson.

Lipscombe also produced 91.09 and 85.89 during his run.

A ten-win tournament victory deserves recognition, particularly in an event with that many recorded matches.

More Saturday tournament winners

There were several other performances worth picking out.

At Nambucca in London, Aaron Beeney won eight matches and defeated Adam Finch 3–2 in the final. Beeney recorded 90.18, 85.56 and 83.50.

At the Hoop and Mallet in Warrington, Jordan Howarth won seven matches and defeated Charlie Cooper 3–2. James Welding recorded two separate 93.94 averages.

At John Selden in Worthing, Ethan Yates collected six wins and defeated Adam Griffiths 3–2 in the final.

At Pot Black in Shanklin, Jay Moore won six matches and beat Connor Mitchell 3–2.

At The Millrace in Milton, Martin Williams defeated Jamie Mountford 3–2 to take the title.

Away from the Vault circuit, Adam Warner won the Kenny Greenall Memorial GSOD against PJ Lynskey, while Keith Croxford produced the competition's highest average of 95.94.

At the Darts for Hearts charity event, Joseph Gargaro defeated James McCann 4–2 in the final, with both players recording six victories.

And in the Money In Money Out KO, Dan Broad defeated Bailey Ward 3–2, while Rhys Wareham produced averages of 93.94 and 91.09.

Junior darts: Freddie Argyle and three Junior Volts winners

Saturday also produced an encouraging set of junior results.

At Alford Sports & Social Club in Warrington, Freddie Argyle won the Under-16 round robin, defeating Rhys Brown 3–0 in the final.

Argyle produced an excellent 85.08 average in the final, as well as 76.42, 75.15 and 72.73 during the event.

Both Argyle and Brown finished with seven victories.

There were also three Junior Volts events.

At Bostin Darts 180 Bar in Blackheath, Charlie Lowin defeated Jack Turner 3–1 in the final, with both players recording five victories.

Tyler Shuck produced the highest average at 77.08, while Theo Machin recorded two separate 75.15 averages.

At Glanyrafon Arms in Llandysul, Rowan Fielding defeated Steffan Thomas 3–2 in the final.

Thomas recorded the highest average of 73.92 and collected five wins, while Fielding and Callum Williams each finished with four.

At the Bullseye Bar in Lichfield, Sam Jones defeated Michael Solloway 3–0 in the final.

Harvey-Lee Nelson-Harris produced the competition's highest average of 85.89, while Noah Howe recorded 79.11.

Jones and Solloway both finished with six victories.

There is plenty of emerging talent appearing in these junior events, and the Q4QS database is gradually building a useful picture of their development.

Saturday's standout performances

Five players particularly caught my eye:

  1. Daniel Astbury – 111.33 and the Dawley title. The highest average of the day, backed up by eight victories.
  2. Beau Greaves – two Women's Series titles. A 101.55 average and victories in both Events 21 and 22.
  3. Carl Batchelor – two 100.20 averages and the Nigel Birch Memorial title. An excellent sequence of performances.
  4. Pete Hughes – 103.66 and the Wych Elm title. Eight victories in a strong field.
  5. Lleyton Molyneux – 98.02 and the Wallasey title. Consistent scoring and eight wins.

Mark Craddock's 107.36 and Paul Rowley's 102.48 also deserve a mention, even though neither topped the final results at those venues.

Another 26 tournaments added to Q4QS

Saturday was a good example of the variety of darts being played across the country.

At one end, Beau Greaves was winning back-to-back professional Women's Series events. Elsewhere, Daniel Astbury, Pete Hughes and Carl Batchelor were putting together exceptional performances in competitive open and Vault tournaments.

At Great Float, the WADC was providing another opportunity for women to compete. And across the Junior Volts events, the next generation was gaining valuable tournament experience.

That's exactly the breadth of competitive darts I want Q4QS to capture.

Twenty-six more tournaments, hundreds of matches and plenty more information for the Q4QS rankings, player histories and venue records.

Yesterday’s Darts Results: Astbury Hits 111.33 as Archie Self Wins Challenge Tour – 26 September 2026

Another 38 tournaments have been added to the Q4QS database from Saturday, and there was plenty of variety in this set of results.

Daniel Astbury produced the biggest average of the day with a huge 111.33, Archie Self and Joe Hunt shared the two PDC Challenge Tour titles, and there was a particularly busy day of junior darts.

Closer to home, Hangar 61 staged both its Open Round Robin and a Sub 55 High Stakes Round Robin, while Wales produced several strong performances and there were also two WADC tournaments.

Astbury hits the biggest average of the day

The standout individual number came at the Inn On The Green in Shrewsbury.

Daniel Astbury averaged 111.33 in a 2–0 victory over Ash Coates and also produced a 93.94 later in the tournament.

The title, though, went to Jake B-Smith, who beat Kyle Jones 3–1 in the final. B-Smith finished with eight wins and also recorded a 91.09 average.

It's another example of why these daily reports are about more than simply listing the tournament winners.

Archie Self takes Challenge Tour 21

Archie Self put together an excellent run to win PDC Challenge Tour 21.

Self beat Tommy Morris 5–1 in the final, averaging 104.49, and finished the event with eight victories.

The highest average belonged to Michele Turetta at 105.85, with Martijn Dragt hitting 104.38, Morris 104.26 and Joe Hunt 101.55.

Those are serious numbers throughout the event.

Hunt follows up by winning Event 22

Joe Hunt then went one better in Challenge Tour 22, beating Callum Francis 5–3 in the final.

John Henderson led the averages with 103.98, while Tommy Morris continued an impressive scoring day with 102.95.

Across the two Challenge Tour events, Saturday produced a substantial collection of 100-plus performances.

Hangar 61: Allen takes the Open Round Robin

There was another busy Saturday at Hangar 61, with the main Open Round Robin producing 79 recorded matches.

Chris Allen took the title, beating Lewis Kendall 4–3 in the final and finishing with eight victories.

The biggest average of the tournament belonged to Joe Bagguley, who hit 88.41, with Darren Davies reaching 87.13. Allen's best listed performance was 85.89.

Ricky Palmer and Warren Ryan both recorded six wins, while Kendall and Bagguley finished with five apiece.

It's another useful result for the Q4QS database because Hangar 61 is one of the venues where the growing volume of results is starting to give us a much clearer picture of the regular players and the standard required to win there.

High Stakes Under 55 at Hangar 61

There was a second competition at Hangar 61 with the Sub 55 High Stakes Round Robin.

Russ Scott beat James Edwards 4–3 in the final, with both players recording six victories across the tournament.

Edwards produced comfortably the biggest average of the competition at 81.98, while Scott's highest listed figure was 66.80.

For an event restricted by playing level, an 81.98 is a particularly interesting number – and another reminder that an Under 55 event doesn't mean everyone in the room is going to average under 55 in every match.

Bobby Short breaks 100 in Llanelli

Wales supplied another of Saturday's biggest performances.

At the Terry Griffiths Matchroom in Llanelli, Bobby Short averaged 103.66 in a 2–0 victory over Ben Pumford and later added a 90.18.

The tournament was eventually won by Chris Bryant-Evans, who beat Louis Melville 3–1 in the final.

Bryant-Evans and Melville both recorded seven victories.

Henry Povey wins in Salisbury

One of the best stories from Saturday came from the junior game.

Henry Povey won the Salisbury Junior Super Series 4, beating Baileigh Stace 5–1 in the final and finishing with eight victories.

Povey produced averages of 84.40 and 83.50, while Mason Beaven recorded the tournament's best figure with an excellent 90.18.

Beaven and Stace both finished with seven wins.

Jack Johnson puts together an impressive sequence

There was more strong youth darts at the Mission Youth Open.

Jack Johnson won the 14 & Under Event 1, beating Archie Wright 4–1 in the final.

What particularly stands out is Johnson's consistency. His four leading listed averages were:

91.57, 90.83, 90.18 and 89.96.

Addison Hefferon produced the tournament's highest individual figure at 96.10, but Johnson put together the sustained run and finished with seven victories.

A busy Saturday for junior darts

The junior results didn't end there.

Rico Anderson won the JDC Wales Plate Tournament, beating Jaiden Jewell 3–0 in the final and averaging 80.52.

There were also Junior Volts titles for Prem Ahluwalia, Zain Edwards, Logan Smith, Harvey-Lee Nelson-Harris, Alex Gale and Theo Galea.

Nathan Ward-Wilkinson's 88.41 at Clacton was one of the strongest Junior Volts numbers of the day.

Wales produces plenty of stories

Away from the junior game, there was plenty happening across Wales.

Stephen Cake won the Aberfan Open, beating Joshua Brogden 6–1 in the final. Mike Huntley produced the event's best average at 98.36, with Marshall James reaching 96.57.

Finley Bennett took the Vault in Bargoed, while the 103.66 from Bobby Short in Llanelli was one of the highest grassroots averages anywhere in Saturday's results.

Bringing Wales further into these roundups is already adding some good performances and different names to the daily picture.

WADC: Fairbrother and Sayers take the titles

There were two WADC Vault events on Saturday.

At The Nags Head Inn in Cinderford, Vicky Fairbrother beat Dannie Hughes 3–1 in the final and finished with six victories.

Fairbrother also occupied the first four positions in the event's list of highest averages, headed by 56.11.

At The Glebe in Stevenage, Debbie Sayers beat Michelle Bull 3–2 to take the other WADC title.

I'll continue including the WADC results whenever events have been played. They are part of the same grassroots picture that Q4QS is trying to build.

Five performances that caught my eye

  1. Daniel Astbury – 111.33 — Shrewsbury
  2. Michele Turetta – 105.85 — Challenge Tour 21
  3. Archie Self – 104.49 — Challenge Tour 21
  4. Bobby Short – 103.66 — Llanelli
  5. James Edwards – 81.98 — Hangar 61 Sub 55 High Stakes

There were plenty of alternatives. Martijn Dragt hit 104.38, Tommy Morris reached 104.26 and 102.95, John Henderson recorded 103.98 and Jack Johnson put together that excellent sequence around the 90 mark in the Mission Youth Open.

Another 38 tournaments added to Q4QS

Saturday's 38 tournaments might be fewer than some of the big midweek nights, but there was arguably more variety.

There was PDC Challenge Tour darts, WADC, JDC and junior competition, Welsh events, regular Vaults, open tournaments and two different competitions at Hangar 61.

That's what makes collecting all these results worthwhile.

The headline averages are interesting today, but over time the results build the player records, rankings, venue histories, form and head-to-head data that allow Q4QS to look much deeper than a single night's results.

Yesterday’s Darts Results: Godbeer Goes Back-to-Back as Boundy Wins at Portishead (25th August 2026)

Tuesday produced another packed night of grassroots darts, with 39 tournaments from 25 August added to the Q4QS database.

There was plenty to pick out across the South West, headed by another victory for Logun Godbeer at Highbridge, while Steve Boundy took the Tuesday Open at Portishead. Further afield, some huge averages were recorded, with Kaydon Doherty topping the night's numbers with a remarkable 116.83.

Godbeer does it again at Highbridge

Logun Godbeer made it back-to-back JDC VOLTS victories at Highbridge Social Club after also winning Monday's competition.

This time Godbeer defeated Tai Anderson 3-0 in the final, and the standard increased significantly from the previous night.

Godbeer produced an 85.08 average in the final itself, the best recorded performance of the tournament. He finished with nine victories across the night, with Anderson recording eight wins and a best of 75.15.

Two wins in two nights makes Godbeer one of the week's early standout performers.

Boundy takes Portishead Tuesday Open

At Portishead Workmens Darts, Steve Boundy came through a 60-match Tuesday Open to claim the title.

Boundy defeated Liam Trotman 3-1 in the final, with both players accumulating eight victories during the competition.

Boundy's best performance was an 81.87 average, while Jack Kempster recorded 77.08 and Trotman reached 75.61.

It continues Boundy's excellent run at Portishead after he also featured prominently in recent Q4QS results.

Astbury impresses with 104.86

Daniel Astbury combined a tournament victory with one of Tuesday's strongest performances.

Astbury won the Wicketts Tuesday Round Robin, beating Terry Nash 3-1 in the final, having earlier produced a superb 104.86 average.

Nash wasn't far behind, reaching 98.02, while Astbury added another 91.70 during his run.

Bryan Flew hits 103.66 on way to title

At Tredegar Constitutional Club, Bryan Flew put together an impressive night in Vault Break Round Robin 2.

Flew beat Dewi Beynon 3-0 in the final and recorded eight wins across the competition.

His standout performance was a 103.66 average, while he also produced 87.61 and 81.98 during his title-winning run.

Kaydon Doherty tops the averages

The biggest number recorded anywhere in Tuesday's data came from Kaydon Doherty at The Bullseye Bar in Lichfield.

Doherty averaged a huge 116.83 during the Custom Handicap Round Robin before going on to win the tournament, defeating Antony Dent 3-0 in the final.

It was an extraordinary set of numbers from the event. Darren Tunnicliffe recorded 113.45, Stan Stannard 109.98, Doherty another 108.94 and Dent 107.50.

Robert Lovelle wins at the Railway

There was also a strong night at DARTS@ THE RAILWAY INN, where Robert Lovelle emerged victorious.

Lovelle beat Jamie Roberts 3-0 in the final and finished with nine wins, the most at the tournament.

He also hit a 100.20 average, matched by Dan Williams, who added performances of 93.94 and 91.17.

More JDC VOLTS action

Highbridge wasn't the only JDC venue in action.

Joseph Lauridsen won at Minehead, defeating Kyle Chivers 3-0 in the final after both Lauridsen and Joshua Pravato recorded seven victories. Pravato's 74.74 was the highest average there.

Elsewhere, Freddie Rowlands won at Gosport, Tyler Shuck took the Halesowen event and Spencer Edwards won at Ogmore Vale, where he produced an impressive 91.09 average.

Plenty more winners across Tuesday

With 39 tournaments added, there was far more action than could fit into one roundup.

Among the other winners were Stephen Jones, Stewart Doughty, Darren Malt, Sean Holley, Ben Rowley, Shaun Vernall, Jack Seymour, Kyle Jones, Jack Wright, David Fisher and Donna Buckley.

There was also a women's singles victory for Jane Price, who beat Sharon Brewer 2-1 in the final and produced the event's highest recorded average of 79.11.

Another big night added to Q4QS

Tuesday's results offered a bit of everything.

Godbeer's second Highbridge victory in two nights and Boundy's Portishead success provide the main South West stories, while performances from Astbury, Flew and others underline the quality appearing throughout the grassroots game.

And with 39 more tournaments now in the Q4QS database, the picture of players, venues and form across the grassroots circuit continues to grow.
