Yesterday's Darts Results: Charlie Mossman Hits 107.36, Bradley van der Velden Records 115.62 and 60 Tournaments Added – 1 November 2026

Yesterday's Darts Results – 1 November 2026

Sunday was another busy day for grassroots darts, with 60 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database. There were three regional Vault finals offering MODUS Super Series qualification, an extensive programme of Junior Volts competitions, and plenty of action across Wales, the South West and further afield.

The results also produced some interesting contrasts. Llew Bevan recorded extraordinary averages in an equaliser competition, Bradley van der Velden hit 115.62, and junior Charlie Mossman produced 107.36 at Minehead.

I've kept the equaliser averages separate from standard competition performances, as the formats aren't directly comparable.

Wales Takes Centre Stage in the Vault 19 Finals

Three regional Vault 19 finals took place on Sunday, each carrying the opportunity to qualify for the MODUS Super Series.

Connor Hopkins Wins South Wales Final

At Butters Bar, Connor Hopkins defeated Ryan Davies 6–3 to win the ADC South Wales Vault 19 final.

Hopkins produced two of the best averages in the competition, recording 100.91 against Bryan Flew and 98.86 against Bobby Short.

Davies also performed well, averaging 88.01 against Finley Bennett and 86.23 against Creed Jenkins.

Four victories were enough for Hopkins to take the title, and those two high averages made his performance particularly impressive.

Kelson Hughes Wins North Wales Final

The North Wales final went to Kelson Hughes, who defeated Darren Southall 6–5 in a closely contested final.

Richard Rowlands recorded the competition's highest average of 90.35 against Terry Nash, who averaged 89.96 in the same match.

Hughes also produced an 82.41 average in his victory over Rowlands and finished with four wins.

Connor Levett Takes South East and London Title

At The Empire Club, Connor Levett defeated Jason Collins 6–3 to win the South East and London Vault 19 final.

Levett finished with five victories, while Jarred Cole recorded the competition's highest average of 101.22 against Andy Smith.

Collins produced averages of 91.84 and 89.29 on his way to the final.

Charlie Mossman Hits 107.36 at Minehead

One of the most impressive performances of Sunday came from the Junior Volts competition at The Banckers Draught in Minehead.

Charlie Mossman produced a remarkable 107.36 average against Alfie Rogers before going on to win the tournament.

He defeated Joshua Pravato 3–0 in the final and finished with eight victories.

There were other good performances in the competition, including Harry Milton's 88.41 and Luke Bennett's 83.50.

But Mossman's 107.36 was the standout figure. It's an excellent average at any level, and particularly encouraging to see it coming from a junior competition.

Bradley van der Velden Records 115.62

The Gap Week MiMo competition at Phoenix Darts Club produced the highest individual average outside the equaliser event.

Bradley van der Velden averaged 115.62 in a 2–0 victory over Joe Flaherty.

However, it was Justin van der Velden who went on to win the competition, defeating Leo Howard 3–2 in the final.

Justin finished with eight victories and also recorded a 91.22 average against Jelle Hannema.

Dustin Straver and Hannema both produced 96.97 averages, while Lorenzo te Hennepe reached 93.94.

Once again, the highest average and the eventual tournament winner were different players.

Llew Bevan's Remarkable Equaliser Performances

The Money In Money Out Equaliser competition deserves a separate mention because the recorded averages were extraordinary.

Llew Bevan defeated Sion Thomas 6–3 in the final and finished with nine victories.

His recorded averages included:

  • 128.83 against Jacob Moores
  • 121.15 against Sion Thomas
  • 117.49 against Danny Moore
  • 112.73 against Sion Thomas

Thomas also recorded 114.98 in the final.

These are remarkable figures, but because this was an equaliser competition, I wouldn't compare them directly with standard 501 results without confirming the precise playing rules.

They remain noteworthy performances within that event.

Aaron Rea Wins Junior Volts at Exeter

At The Kings Pub in Exeter, Aaron Rea won the Junior Volts competition, defeating Joseph Lauridsen 3–2 in the final.

Rea finished with six victories, while Lauridsen recorded five.

Oliver Hutchings produced the highest average of the competition at 83.50 against James Powis.

Riley Cox recorded 74.44, George Miller reached 72.17 and Rea's best recorded average was 71.44.

Another competitive junior tournament, with several players producing encouraging performances.

Kieran Harris Wins at Olivers Sports Bar

The Halloween Money In Money Out competition at Olivers Sports Bar featured 75 recorded matches.

Kieran Harris defeated Ellis Williams 3–0 in the final, finishing with eight victories.

Harris recorded a 100.20 average against Skyla-May Melville, along with 93.94 in the final and 88.41 against Will Fraser.

Williams also impressed with averages of 91.09 against Andrew Smith and 90.18 against Roger James.

Louis Melville and Williams both recorded seven victories, with Roger James finishing on six.

Harris combined a high individual average with the consistency needed to win the tournament.

More Results from Wales and the South West

There was plenty of other action across the region.

At Cardiff Darts, Edward Manley won the Besters Competition at The Royal Exchange, defeating John Cotterell 3–0. Manley recorded seven victories and an 88.41 average in the final.

At Towy Sports Bar in Carmarthen, Cody Hughes defeated Steffan Thomas 3–1 in the Junior Volts final. Thomas recorded the competition's highest average of 85.89.

In Penarth, Jackson Osborne won the Junior Volts competition at Cogan Coronation, defeating Dylan Person 3–0 and averaging 71.57 in the final.

Lucas Llewellyn won at The Darts Dungeon in Bargoed, defeating Corey Bromley 2–1.

At Wiltshire Darts House, Stephen Fanning defeated Dave Legg 5–2 in the Pinch Punch 1st of the Month competition. Allan Minns recorded the highest average of 80.52.

Shaftesbury Football Club hosted another Doble Chase Series event, where James Wills defeated Steve Stone 3–1. Nigel Lamb recorded two 85.89 averages.

At the Queens Arms Darts Frenzy, Ashley Howe defeated Paul Gardiner 1–0, while Gardiner produced the highest average of 93.94.

Junior Volts: 17 Competitions Added

Sunday was a particularly busy day for junior darts, with 17 Junior Volts competitions included in the database.

Alongside the victories for Mossman, Rea, Hughes, Osborne and Llewellyn, there were plenty of other results worth mentioning.

Zach Langley won at Crawley Green Darts Academy in Luton, defeating Archie Blofeld 3–0 and recording a 91.09 average.

George Buckley won at the Inglemire Club in Hull, beating Harrison Meggitt 3–1 and producing an 86.10 average.

At Soccer Zone in Halesowen, Fraser Waterworth defeated Harry Hayward 3–1, recording eight victories.

Remy Stapleton won the competition moved to Fordham RBL, defeating Dougie Keeble 3–0.

Other winners included Alex Barry at Bishop's Stortford, Jack Waker at Milton Keynes, Charlie Smith at Shepperton, Alex Stoddart at Stokesley, Josh Stonehouse at Selby, Max Banachowicz at Waterlooville, Lucas Gee at Bolton and Jack Taylor at Leeds.

There was also a 90.18 average from Thomas Reed at Selby.

It's encouraging to see so many junior competitions taking place across the country. The headline averages attract attention, but the regular opportunities to play competitive darts are just as important.

Other Tournament Results

A few more results caught my attention.

Callum Goffin won Fusions Super Sunday Darts, defeating Stuart Holden 3–0. He recorded two 98.02 averages, along with 91.09 and 90.18, and finished with eight victories.

Ben Foster won the Halloween Darts Open at Hotshots Sports Bar, defeating Henry Reddin 6–2. The competition featured 125 recorded matches, with Foster winning ten.

Luke Kings won the Amps 3.0 Under-65 competition at South Redditch Sports and Social Club, defeating Luis Cowley-Bryenton 3–0. Cowley-Bryenton recorded the highest average of 81.44.

Sid Stovold won the Cambs & South Lincs Darts Series qualifier at Stamford, defeating Chris Fidler 3–2. Fidler produced averages of 96.97 and 95.94.

Craig Cook won the Groves Vault Break competition, defeating Andy Alker 3–0, while Alex Olo Zalewski recorded the highest average of 89.57.

Dave Matthews produced a 100.20 average in the U65 Ranking Series at the Railway Darts Association, although Theo Briggs won the event, defeating Paul Calvert 4–2.

These are only some of the competitions added. The wider database contains the rest of Sunday's tournament results and player performances.

WADC Update

I couldn't identify any competitions specifically labelled WADC in Sunday's uploaded results.

There were numerous junior and grassroots competitions, but I won't attribute any of them to WADC without confirmation.

Sunday's Standout Individual Averages

Here are ten of the leading recorded individual match averages, excluding the equaliser competition so that its different format doesn't distort the comparison.

These are individual match averages, not tournament averages. The equaliser competition is excluded from this table.

A Final Thought

Sunday's results demonstrate just how much darts is taking place beyond the professional game.

There were regional finals with genuine qualification opportunities, junior competitions producing averages above 100, and dozens of local tournaments giving players the chance to compete.

For me, that's the value of bringing everything together in the Q4QS Database.

Some players will remember Sunday because they won a title. Others will remember a particularly good average, a close match or simply reaching a final for the first time.

All those performances deserve to be recorded.

Yesterday's Darts Results: Stuart Dutton Hits 99.68, Wayne Bradshaw Records 104.86 and 36 Tournaments Added – 30 October 2026

Another 36 tournaments have been added to the Q4QS Database from Friday 30 October, with some excellent darts across England and Wales, a few very close finals and plenty of performances worth mentioning.

There were some particularly eye-catching recorded averages at the Bullseye Bar in Lichfield, although these came from a handicap competition, so I'm keeping those separate from the conventional averages.

Elsewhere, Wayne Bradshaw produced a 104.86 at Street, Stuart Dutton recorded 99.68 at Bradmoor Farm, and there was another good evening of darts at Clandown, Sturminster Newton and Leominster.

There was plenty of junior darts too, alongside a ladies' competition and a pairs event at Bridgwater.

Stuart Dutton wins a close final at Bradmoor Farm

One of Friday's best performances came from Stuart Dutton at the Bradmoor Farm Friday Vault Break 1 competition, organised through Aylesbury Darts Events.

Dutton defeated Andy Smith 5–4 in the final, having also recorded the highest average in the competition, a superb 99.68 against Adam Mould.

He added averages of 89.73 and 88.13 during the evening, eventually finishing with five victories.

Smith certainly played his part, recording 90.55 against Ian Phillips and averaging 88.10 in the final.

A nine-leg final is always a good way to finish a tournament, particularly when both players are producing decent numbers.

Wayne Bradshaw hits 104.86, but Darren Herbert takes the title

At the Street Darts Organisation Open Round Robin Series Finals Night, Wayne Bradshaw produced the highest conventional average I found in Friday's results.

His 104.86 against Kieran Spurdle was an excellent performance, and Bradshaw went on to reach the final with seven victories.

However, Darren Herbert was the player who finished the evening with the trophy, defeating Bradshaw 5–1.

Herbert recorded eight victories, with a best average of 85.08. CJ Ayres also impressed with an 88.41.

This is another good example of something I mention quite regularly. One outstanding average is worth celebrating, but winning a tournament requires you to get through every round.

Ryan Griffiths wins at Leominster

Ryan Griffiths was one of Friday's featured winners, taking the Money In Money Out competition at Leominster & District Darts League.

He defeated Chris Hurds 3–2 in the final, with both players producing their best averages in that match.

Griffiths averaged 85.90 and Hurds 85.63, which suggests it was a very competitive final.

Griffiths also recorded 83.50 and 81.24 during the competition, finishing with seven victories.

It's always nice when the best performance of an evening comes in the final itself, with the pressure of winning the competition.

Clandown: Stuart Wollacott takes the Slam Series title

Closer to home, Clandown Darts Promotions held Week 3 of its CDP Slam Series.

There were 67 matches recorded, with Stuart Wollacott defeating Eddie Hughes 3–1 in the final.

Both players finished with six victories, but Wollacott came through when it mattered.

Shoey Ayres recorded the highest average of the competition, 91.09, while Gary Witcombe reached 88.41 and Ade Beale produced 83.09.

Wollacott himself averaged 81.45 in the final.

It's another good result from Clandown, and another tournament contributing to the growing amount of competitive darts data coming out of the Radstock area.

Dale Mills wins at Sturminster Newton

At Sturminster Newton Darts, Dale Mills won the SNUFC MIMO competition, defeating Steve Stone 3–0 in the final.

Mills finished with seven victories, with Al Ayres and Stone both recording six.

Nigel Edwards produced the highest average of the evening, 79.11, while Mills recorded 77.71 against Christopher Roberts.

Mills also averaged 71.57 in the final.

There were 62 matches recorded, so it was another substantial evening of grassroots darts.

Bridgwater, Newport and the wider South West

At Bridgwater Darts Academy, the pairing listed as Dawn Alex won the BDA Random Pairs competition, defeating Wesley Archie 3–1 in the final.

The event recorded 15 matches, with both finalist pairings finishing on four victories. The leading recorded average was 53.41 from the pairing listed as Finley Tommy W.

As this was a pairs competition, those names refer to partnerships rather than individual players.

Over in Newport, Bryan Bennis defeated David Wysome 3–1 in the Kings Winter Warmer at Newport Darts Community.

Both players finished with seven victories in a competition featuring 73 matches. Liam Corten produced the highest average, 85.89.

At Newport Darts Society and Promotions, Joshua Russell defeated Cody Vodden 3–0 in the Rob Stack Attack Owen Exhibition Knockout.

Russell recorded five victories and averaged 85.08 in the final. Rob Owen also featured, recording a best average of 83.50.

And at Wattsville National Club, Dan Benger won Friday Night Fun Week 7, defeating Mitchel Kitson 3–1. Benger finished with eight victories and a best average of 76.02.

Chelsea Tolley wins the ladies' competition

There was a ladies' tournament at Leominster & District Darts League, where Chelsea Tolley defeated Karrina Barnes 3–2 in the final.

Tolley finished with six victories, while Barnes and Kirsty McEwan recorded four apiece.

Barnes produced the highest average of the competition, 54.65, while Tolley's best was 46.97.

There were 18 matches recorded, and it was good to see another ladies' event among the daily results.

WADC update

I couldn't identify any specifically WADC-labelled competitions in Friday's 36-tournament report, so there are no confirmed WADC results to include today.

That doesn't mean women's darts was absent, though, with the Leominster ladies' competition providing another result for the database.

Junior darts: three Junior Volts competitions

There were three JDC Junior Volts events on Friday, with competitions at Aylesford, Dereham and Ryde.

At Aylesford Village Club, Freddy Turner defeated Sam Wilkes 3–2 in the final, finishing with six victories.

Tom Bristow recorded an excellent 96.97 average, while Drake Porter produced 93.94 and 88.41. Those are some impressive figures at junior level.

At Dereham Cricket Club, Rowan Chadwick defeated Jacob Green 3–1 in the final, recording five victories. Remy Stapleton produced the highest average of 69.95, along with two other averages above 68.

At the Simeon Arms in Ryde, Quinn Adams came through a 3–2 final against Connor Mitchell. Adams finished with seven victories, while Mitchel Hunt recorded the highest average of 73.32.

There was also a Soccer Zone Under-16 Junior League competition, won by Jenson Hadlington, who defeated Morgan Hughes 3–1. George Hobbs produced the highest average there, 69.91.

It's encouraging to see another four junior competitions represented in the results, particularly with some of the averages being produced.

Ritchie Edhouse wins the Halloween Special

One of Friday's bigger competitions was the Vault Break 1 Halloween Special at Bushey Conservative Club.

There were 90 matches recorded, and Ritchie Edhouse came through to defeat Kyle Weatherley 5–3 in the final.

Edhouse finished with nine victories, producing averages of 91.09 and 85.89 along the way.

Edgar Znutins recorded the highest average of the competition, 96.97, and also hit 85.89.

Chris Edmunds reached 85.89 as well.

A strong field, plenty of matches and a good win for Edhouse.

Luke Newport wins an 11-match campaign

At the Royal Oak Vault Break 1 competition, Luke Newport recorded an impressive 11 victories, defeating Darren Southall 3–1 in the final.

There were 120 matches recorded, making this one of the largest competitions in Friday's results.

Newport averaged 93.94 against Peter Sim-Mutch and 86.21 in the final.

Baz Tym recorded 93.67, while Southall and Owen Bufton both produced 91.09.

Southall finished with nine victories and Tym with eight, so there were some lengthy runs in this competition.

More winners worth mentioning

John Power won at Epsom Town Social Club, defeating Bradley O'Connor 5–3 in the final. Power recorded eight victories and three of the competition's leading averages, including two of 91.09.

Gary Jackson won the Friday Night Comp Series at The Dart and Pint Venue, defeating Ryan Ganley 3–1. Jackson recorded averages of 95.94, 93.94 and 92.02.

Kevin Edwards won the Vault Inbetweener at Big Foley Darts, defeating Louie Wiles 3–1. Edwards produced an impressive collection of averages: 95.94, 92.02, 88.84, 83.50 and 81.98.

Jack Davey won the open round robin at Pegasus 68 Club, defeating Bobby Meigh 3–1 and recording ten victories.

Rich Hosey won the Vault Round Robin at Bostin Darts 180 Bar, defeating Phil Jones 3–1. Liam Kelly recorded the highest average there, 88.41.

And at Street Darts Organisation, Tommy Chinnock won the Under-50 Round Robin Series Finals, defeating Oliver Barnes 4–2 and recording eight victories.

What about those huge averages at Lichfield?

Friday's highest recorded averages all came from the Handicap Knockout at the Bullseye Bar in Lichfield.

David Hitchman won the competition, defeating Jake Dean 3–0 in the final and finishing with eight victories.

The recorded averages included 122.57 and 117.84 from Hitchman, 120.17 from Tayab Ali, 116.24 from Michael Bean and 115.50 from Jodie Payne.

These are exceptionally high figures, but because the event was a handicap knockout, I think it's sensible to keep them separate from the ordinary three-dart averages when comparing performances.

They are still the figures recorded in the source data, and Hitchman deserves recognition for winning the event.

Friday's highest recorded individual averages

The handicap competition is shown separately because its scoring format may affect comparisons. These are individual match averages, not tournament averages.

A final thought

Another 36 tournaments have been added to Q4QS, and once again there is a lot more to the results than simply looking at the biggest average.

Stuart Dutton's 5–4 final, Luke Newport winning 11 matches, Dale Mills taking the title at Sturminster Newton, and the juniors producing some very good figures are all stories worth recognising.

I also think Kevin Edwards deserves a special mention. Five leading averages above 80, including two above 90, is a very good collection of performances.

The beauty of having all these results together is that we can start to see consistency, improvement and players building up winning runs, rather than just looking at isolated performances.

Yesterday's Darts Results: Alfie Fisken Hits 111.33, Kaya Baysal Wins Again and 62 Tournaments Added – 29 October 2026

Another busy Thursday for grassroots darts, with 62 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database and some excellent performances from players right across the country.

The biggest individual average came from Alfie Fisken, who produced a superb 111.33 in Bletchley. Jonathan Kavanagh wasn't far behind with 104.86 at Hindley, while four other players reached the 100.20 mark.

But, as we often find when looking through these results, the biggest average doesn't always lead to the trophy.

Kaya Baysal continued an excellent couple of days with another tournament victory in Keighley, Mason Hale put together a particularly impressive series of averages in Huddersfield, and Anthony Paul Hitchen came through a substantial competition at Hindley.

Closer to home, Ricky Palmer was back among the winners at Hangar61, while Samuel King collected another Under-70 title.

Alfie Fisken produces the day's highest average

At Hotshots Sports Bar in Bletchley, Alfie Fisken recorded 111.33 against Adam Hefferon, the highest individual match average across Thursday's results.

Fisken also recorded a 91.09 against Kurt Bradnam, making it a very good evening in terms of individual performances.

However, the tournament went to Mat Caste, who defeated Bailey Martin 3–0 in the final and finished with seven victories.

Ben Foster also impressed with averages of 93.38, 91.26 and 91.09.

It's a familiar story, really. The player producing the highest average doesn't necessarily end up winning the competition, but that shouldn't take anything away from Fisken's performance.

Kaya Baysal wins again – and keeps producing the numbers

Kaya Baysal featured prominently in Wednesday's roundup after winning nine matches at Pendle and producing two averages of 100.20.

Well, Baysal was back in the winners' enclosure on Thursday.

This time it was the Division 1 Open competition at Pilky's in Keighley, where Baysal defeated Bobby Haste 4–0 in the final.

There were seven victories altogether, with the leading averages including:

  • 95.94 against Ollie Bibby
  • 88.14 against Glenn Gibson
  • 87.53 against Charlie Devoy
  • 85.08 against Gaz Hannan

That's now two tournament victories across two consecutive days in the results, with 16 match wins recorded between them.

We often talk about a player producing one exceptional evening, but backing it up the following day is another achievement entirely.

And that's what makes Baysal's performances particularly interesting.

Mason Hale's consistency stands out in Huddersfield

Another performance that deserves attention came from Mason Hale at Rack Cafe in Huddersfield.

Hale won seven matches and defeated Joe White 4–1 in the final, averaging 96.69 in the deciding match.

But the figures leading up to that final were equally impressive.

AverageOpponent
96.69Joe White
93.94Cobi Cartwright
92.02Brooklyn Coates
85.08Shaun Hale
83.62Nolan Pollard

Those are the five leading averages recorded for Hale in the competition.

I think this is one of the strongest performances of the day when you look beyond just the single highest average.

Seven victories, three averages above 90 and a particularly good performance in the final. That's exactly the sort of consistency that wins tournaments.

Anthony Paul Hitchen wins a big competition at Hindley

The Thursday round robin at Hindley Social Club was one of the larger events in the day's results, with 125 matches recorded.

Anthony Paul Hitchen came through to win the competition, defeating Jonathan Kavanagh 4–2 in the final and recording nine victories.

Hitchen produced a 96.97 against Charlie Sinclair and a 93.94 against Brook Waterworth.

Kavanagh recorded the second-highest average of the entire day, 104.86 against Martin Bradbury, and finished with eight victories.

Dan Fingard also produced a 96.97, while Kirk Shepherd recorded 93.94.

That's a lot of good darts in one competition, and Hitchen deserves credit for coming through such a sizeable field.

Ricky Palmer wins at Hangar61

Ricky Palmer was one of the featured winners on Thursday, defeating Martyn Freeman 3–1 in the final of the Thursday Night Round Robin at Hangar61.

Palmer also produced the highest individual average in that competition, 89.72 against Antwon Phillips.

There were some other good performances too. Rich Griffee recorded 88.41 and 87.24, while Brandon Goddard and Robbie Long both reached 85.89.

Brandon Goddard and Corey Oates recorded seven victories apiece, while Palmer finished with five.

It's another reminder that there are different routes through these competitions. Sometimes the player with the most wins isn't the eventual champion, depending on the competition format and results.

Darren Webster wins at Game Shop Darts

Darren Webster won the GSD Thursday competition at Game Shop Darts LTD, beating Kevin Peacher 3–0 in the final.

Webster recorded six victories and produced a 95.94 against Marcus Stubington, along with an 88.29 against Kieran Jefferson.

James Hubbard was another standout performer, recording 100.20 against Darren Massen and 93.94 against Sonny Page.

Hubbard finished with five victories, but Webster was the player who took the title.

South West results: Samuel King wins again

Samuel King made it two tournament victories in successive daily roundups.

After winning at Devizes on Wednesday, King returned to the winners' enclosure at the Deers Leap Under-70 competition, defeating Wayne Millin 4–1 in the final.

King recorded six victories, while Millin led the match-win count with eight.

Dillon Moran produced the highest average of the competition, 85.89 against Lee Judd, and also recorded 84.41.

Lewis Saunders reached 79.11, with six victories of his own.

It was another substantial Under-70 event, with 70 matches recorded, and good to see King continuing his winning form.

John Nelson makes it another winning evening

Another player who followed up Wednesday's success was John Nelson.

Nelson won Thursday's Inbetweener competition, defeating Arun Grewal 3–0 in the final.

He recorded nine victories, with leading averages of 95.94, 92.02, 90.18, 85.08 and 83.50.

That's a particularly strong collection of figures.

After his Tadworth victory on Wednesday, which included two averages above 100, Nelson has now recorded two tournament victories in consecutive daily reports.

The consistency across both evenings is certainly worth recognising.

Women's darts: Crystal Larkin wins at Boundary Park Academy

There was a ladies' round robin included in Thursday's results at Boundary Park Academy, held at Bar 1895 Darts.

Crystal Larkin won the competition, defeating Heidi Heald 2–1 in the final and finishing with five victories.

Heald recorded the highest average in the event, 54.78, and finished with four wins. Larkin's best recorded average was 51.83, while Lottie Tomlin reached 47.71.

There were 19 matches recorded in the competition.

WADC update

I couldn't identify any specifically WADC-labelled competitions among Thursday's 62 tournaments, so there are no confirmed WADC results to report in this roundup.

That doesn't mean there wasn't women's darts taking place, of course, and the Boundary Park Academy ladies' competition deserves its mention.

Junior Volts: six competitions across the country

There were six Junior Volts competitions recorded on Thursday, with some good performances from the younger players.

LocationWinnerFinal result
ResolvenCody Hughes3–2 v Ashton John
OldhamOscar Monkton3–1 v Matthew Roberts
BuxtonAdam Bines3–1 v Angus Redfern
PenarthDylan Person3–1 v Leo Driscoll
ManchesterHarrison Doherty3–2 v Ollie Pollard
GillinghamCharlie Smith3–0 v Ralph Burnett

There were several performances worth picking out.

At Resolven, Kenzie Watkins produced a 91.09 average against Ollie Griffiths, the highest individual average among the six Junior Volts competitions. Jack Powell recorded 85.89, while Cody Hughes came through to win the title.

At Manchester, both Charlie Thomason and Harrison Doherty recorded 81.24 averages. Doherty won six matches and the competition, while Thomason also recorded six victories.

Dylan Person recorded 81.24 at Penarth on the way to winning the event, while Adam Bines produced 73.32 and seven victories at Buxton.

Oscar Monkton won six matches at Oldham, recording a best average of 77.08.

And at Gillingham, Charlie Smith won five matches, defeating Ralph Burnett 3–0 in the final.

Once again, it's encouraging to see so many juniors getting regular competitive darts.

More performances worth mentioning

With 62 competitions in the database, there were plenty of other results that deserve recognition.

At Brynmawr Social Club, Ben Bevan defeated Finley Bennett 3–1 in the final, with both players recording seven victories. Paul Jarvis hit a 100.20, while Bennett recorded 96.97, 93.94 and 91.09.

At Cardiff County Conservative Club, Edward Manley defeated John Cotterell 3–1 in the final. Josef Howlett produced the highest average of 91.09.

At Clwb Emrys Circuit 3.0, Lee Hughes won nine matches and defeated Jeff Bass 3–0 in the final, with a best average of 91.09.

At the Rock Avenue Club in Gillingham, George Cressey won seven matches, beating Michael Finch 3–1 in the final. Cressey recorded averages of 95.36, 88.41, 88.30 and 86.64.

And at Credenhill Social & Sports Club, Adam Mitchell won nine matches to take the Sub-60 Series title, defeating Edward Richardson-Morris 3–0.

These are the sort of performances that can easily get overlooked when we're concentrating on the highest averages.

Mason Hale96.69Rack Cafe, Huddersfield

My five standout performances

  1. Alfie Fisken: The highest average of the day, 111.33, backed up by a 91.09.
  2. Mason Hale: Seven victories, three averages above 90 and a 96.69 in the final.
  3. Kaya Baysal: Another title following Wednesday's success, with seven victories and a best average of 95.94.
  4. Anthony Paul Hitchen: Nine victories in a competition containing 125 recorded matches.
  5. John Nelson: Nine victories and five leading averages between 83.50 and 95.94, following Wednesday's tournament win.

Special mentions to Jonathan Kavanagh, George Cressey, Lee Hughes and Adam Mitchell.

Another 62 tournaments added to Q4QS

Thursday's results were a good mixture of high averages, consistent tournament winners, junior competitions, ladies' darts and the various average-restricted competitions that provide opportunities for players at different standards.

Alfie Fisken's 111.33 was the headline number, but I think Mason Hale's performance deserves just as much attention.

And it's interesting to see Kaya Baysal and John Nelson winning on consecutive days. That's something you don't always notice when looking at tournament results individually, but it becomes apparent when you start following the daily reports.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy putting these roundups together. There are always stories beyond the biggest averages and the most recognisable names.

Another 62 competitions are now part of the Q4QS Database, with more players, matches and performances contributing to the bigger picture of grassroots darts.

Yesterday's Darts Results: Ashton Brown Hits 107.36, Kaya Baysal Wins Nine Matches and 45 Tournaments Added – 28 October 2026

Wednesday was another busy day for grassroots darts, with 45 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database and plenty of good performances across the country.

There were some impressive individual averages, including a 107.36 from Ashton Brown, while Kaya Baysal put together one of the most convincing tournament-winning performances of the day.

Closer to home, Chris Martin won at Purton, Samuel King came through at Devizes, and Joseph Lauridsen enjoyed a very good evening in the Junior Volts competition at Exeter.

The women's competitions also deserve a mention, with Kirsty Jones winning at Evesham and Rhian O'Sullivan producing some excellent darts at Arrows Darts Venue.

And, as usual, there were plenty of competitions where the biggest average didn't necessarily belong to the eventual winner.

Ashton Brown produces Wednesday's highest average

The highest individual average in Wednesday's results came from Ashton Brown, who recorded 107.36 against Darren Davies at the ADC Sanctioned Round Robin at Sartan Club in Bristol.

Brown also produced a 96.97 against Lou Ballantyne, so it certainly wasn't a one-off performance.

However, the tournament went to Ricky Palmer, who defeated Alfie Palmer 4–3 in the final.

Ricky finished with six victories, while Warren Ryan recorded seven, the most in the competition. Cooper Cornish also had six wins.

It's another reminder that producing the best average and winning the tournament are two different things. Both are achievements, but consistency over an evening often makes the difference.

Kaya Baysal's remarkable evening at Pendle

If I were picking the most complete performance of Wednesday, Kaya Baysal would be very difficult to overlook.

At Pendle Super Series 3, Week 5, held at Nelson Poultry Social Club, Baysal recorded nine victories and defeated Michael Pearson 3–0 in the final.

But it's the averages that really stand out.

AverageOpponent
100.20Jay Link
100.20Lewis Wainman
95.94Michael Pearson
93.94Ian Watson
89.55Evan Williams

That's two three-figure averages, another two above 93, and nine match victories.

Michael Pearson recorded seven wins and Evan Williams six, but Baysal was the player who came through to collect the title.

One outstanding average is always worth mentioning. Putting together five performances like those in the same competition is something else.

John Nelson doubles up on three-figure averages

John Nelson was another player who combined strong scoring with a tournament victory.

At the RRS8 Open Average competition at Tadworth Social Club, Nelson defeated Aidan Oliver 3–1 in the final and recorded eight victories.

His leading averages were 103.66 against Damien Olver and 100.20 against Billy Titchener.

Wayne Brill also impressed with averages of 96.97 and 91.09, finishing with six victories alongside runner-up Oliver.

Nelson's combination of high averages and eight wins makes this another of Wednesday's strongest performances.

Danny Goddard and Lewis Gurney impress

At The Anchor Inn Vault Break, Danny Goddard defeated Jayden Lee 3–1 in the final.

Goddard recorded seven victories and produced a 103.66 against Lee earlier in the competition. He also had two averages of 85.89, followed by 83.14 in the final.

At TMG Social Club, Lewis Gurney won Wednesday's Money In Money Out competition, defeating Matt Macintosh 3–1.

Gurney finished with eight victories, recording averages of 100.20, 91.09 and 88.41 among his leading performances.

Macintosh also had a good evening, recording seven victories and a 91.09 average.

Both winners deserve credit for doing more than simply producing one big number.

South West highlights: Purton, Devizes and Bristol

There was plenty of activity across the South West, and three competitions in particular caught my attention.

Chris Martin wins at Purton Red House

Chris Martin won the Under-70 Average Round Robin Cash In–Cash Out competition at Purton Red House, defeating Alfie Woolford 4–0 in the final.

Martin finished with seven victories, the same number as Woolford and Wayne Franklin.

Steve Monk produced the competition's highest individual average, 91.09 against Dave Taylor, while Martin's leading averages included 76.42 against Lewis Roze and 75.00 against Jordan Herbert.

With 75 matches recorded, this was a sizeable competition, and Martin did well to come through the field.

Samuel King takes the Devizes title

At the Devizes Town Under-70 Average Round Robin, Samuel King defeated Teddy Sheppard 4–2 in the final, finishing with eight victories.

Sheppard and Steven House both recorded seven wins.

House produced the highest average of the competition, 81.24 against Mike Barton, while Dan Waylen recorded 79.11 and Chris Hiscock reached 76.56.

Again, it was the player who kept winning matches rather than the one with the highest individual average who eventually collected the title.

Ricky Palmer wins in Bristol

At Sartan Club in Bristol, Ricky Palmer won the ADC Sanctioned Round Robin, beating Alfie Palmer 4–3 in the final.

As mentioned earlier, Ashton Brown recorded the day's highest average of 107.36 in this competition.

With 75 matches played and several players recording five or more victories, there was plenty of competitive darts.

Women's darts: Rhian O'Sullivan and Kirsty Jones take the titles

There were two ladies' competitions in Wednesday's results, and both deserve their own mention.

At Arrows Darts Venue, Rhian O'Sullivan defeated Eve Watson 3–1 in the final of the Ladies Open Tournament.

O'Sullivan finished with six victories and recorded some excellent averages:

  • 90.18 against Tia Sterio
  • 82.64 in the final against Eve Watson
  • 81.29 against Kirsten Casley
  • 75.15 against Naomi Doyle

That's a very good collection of performances, particularly the 90.18 and the two further averages above 80.

Watson also recorded an 84.23 and finished with five victories.

Meanwhile, at Evesham Darts Competitions, Kirsty Jones won the Ladies Open, defeating Mhia 'Shotgun' Vernall 3–0 in the final.

Jones finished with five victories, averaging 60.93 in the final, alongside earlier performances of 55.67 and 54.65.

Vernall recorded four wins.

The two competitions had quite different average levels, but that's one of the things I like about grassroots darts. There's room for players at different stages of their development to compete and enjoy success.

WADC update

I couldn't identify any specifically WADC-labelled competitions among Wednesday's 45 recorded tournaments.

However, the two ladies' competitions above were included in the results, so there was certainly women's darts to report. I wouldn't want to label either event as WADC without confirmation.

Junior Volts: seven competitions and plenty of promising performances

Seven Junior Volts competitions appeared in Wednesday's results, including events in Exeter, Newport, Pontypool, Lowestoft, Norwich, Stowmarket and Llantwit Major.

VenueWinnerFinal

Pinches Cue Club, NorwichMax Adderson3–2 v Theo Fiddy
The Bull Room, StowmarketHarvey Stringer3–0 v Taylor Hayward

Joseph Lauridsen wins eight matches in Exeter

Joseph Lauridsen's victory at The Kings Pub in Exeter was one of the standout junior results.

He defeated Freddie Pattenden 3–0 in the final, finishing with eight victories, and recorded averages of 75.47 against Lewis Woods and 68.32 against Jamie Clyburn.

Aaron Rea also enjoyed a good evening with six victories.

Harley Glycos impresses in Newport

At Out Out Bar, Harley Glycos defeated Nico Adams 3–2 in the final.

Glycos recorded five victories and produced averages of 85.92 against Liam Cook and 85.89 against Cruz Adams.

Interestingly, Liam Cook also appears as the winner of the Season 6 Series at Next-Level Darts Academy, where he defeated Glycos 2–1 and recorded a 100.20 against Hayden Morgan.

It's encouraging to see these young players putting in strong performances across different competitions.

Other junior performances

At Pontypool, Rhys Evans recorded seven victories, while Archie Bourne produced an 81.33 average.

At Norwich, Theo Fiddy recorded an 81.24, although Max Adderson won the competition.

At Stowmarket, Harvey Stringer won seven matches, while Leo Dale produced an 81.24.

And at Lowestoft, Parker Gillings recorded the highest average of 75.15, with Rhys Tonkes eventually taking the title.

There's a lot more to junior darts than just the biggest averages. Regular competitive experience, learning to win close matches and getting through difficult games are all important parts of development.

More winners from Wednesday's competitions

There were plenty of other performances worth picking out from the 45 tournaments.

At Bedlinog Rugby Football Club, Jack Davies defeated Bryan Flew 3–0 in the final. Flew recorded a 100.20, 96.97 and 93.94, but Davies took the title.

At the Goat Penygroes Vault Break, Alex Williams won seven matches and defeated Jac Owen 3–1 in the final. Williams recorded 91.09, 86.71, 85.89 and 84.08 among his leading averages. That's another good example of consistency.

Lee Hughes won eight matches at the Rack & Flight Club in Treorchy, defeating Ben Hunt 3–2 in the final and recording a best average of 93.94.

At Oliver's Sports Bar, Louis Melville collected ten victories, the most by any player in an individual competition highlighted in Wednesday's report. He defeated Liam Hughes 3–0 in the final, with a leading average of 93.94.

And at The Progressive Club, Marc Page recorded nine victories, defeating Jason Clarke 3–0 in the final. Gav Smith produced the highest average there, 103.66.

Other winners included Stuart Dutton at Bradmoor Farm, Jamie Tyas at Top Tee, Ross Hales in the Aylesbury Midweek Plate, Phil Day at the Red Lion Paulton Under-55 competition, and Adam Bines in the Wednesday Under-65 Series.

My five standout performances

  1. Kaya Baysal: Nine victories, two 100.20 averages and three more performances between 89.55 and 95.94.
  2. Ashton Brown: Wednesday's highest average of 107.36, backed up by a 96.97.
  3. John Nelson: Eight victories, two three-figure averages and the Tadworth title.
  4. Rhian O'Sullivan: Six victories, a 90.18 and two more averages above 80 on the way to winning the Ladies Open.
  5. Joseph Lauridsen: Eight victories at Junior Volts Exeter, including a 3–0 final victory.

Special mentions to Danny Goddard, Lewis Gurney, Alex Williams and Louis Melville.

Another 45 tournaments added to Q4QS

Wednesday was another good illustration of just how much grassroots darts is taking place.

There were some excellent averages, particularly from Ashton Brown, but I think Kaya Baysal's performance probably gets my vote for the day.

Two averages above 100, another three approaching that level, nine victories and the title. That's an impressive evening.

It was also good to see two women's competitions in the results, seven Junior Volts events, and plenty of Under-55, Under-65 and Under-70 competitions providing opportunities for players across different standards.

And that's really what these daily roundups are about. Not just the players hitting the biggest numbers, but recognising the people who are getting out, competing and winning matches at every level.

Yesterday's Darts Results: Paul Rowley Hits 111.33, Jack Johnson Shines in Junior Volts and 60 Tournaments Added to Q4QS – 27 October 2026

Tuesday was another busy day for grassroots darts, with 60 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database, and there was a particularly interesting mixture of established players, improving juniors and some excellent individual performances.

Paul Rowley produced the highest recorded average of the day with a 111.33, while Connor Hopkins wasn't far behind on 106.64.

But perhaps one of the most impressive stories came from the Junior Volts competition in Gillingham, where Jack Johnson produced four averages above 90, including a 104.86 in the final.

Elsewhere, Cori Wiltshire won at Hangar61, Johnny Haines enjoyed an excellent evening at Faringdon Town Football Club, and there were strong performances at Chinnor Pavilion, the Cue Club and several competitions across Wales.

And with so many junior tournaments taking place, there was plenty to look at beyond the usual open competitions.

Paul Rowley tops Tuesday's averages

The highest individual average recorded on Tuesday came from Paul Rowley, who produced 111.33 against Shaz Shepherd in a Tuesday night pre-round-robin competition.

It wasn't his only good performance either.

Rowley also recorded two averages of 96.97, against Alyssya Petty and Jack Fisher, along with 94.62 against Jack Harrison.

Four averages above 94 in one competition is a pretty decent evening by anyone's standards.

However, the tournament itself went to Daniel Astbury, who defeated Jake B-Smith 3–2 in the final.

B-Smith finished with eight victories, while Astbury and Rowley each recorded seven.

It's another example of why I like looking at both the averages and the tournament results. Rowley produced the biggest numbers, but Astbury was the player who came through to win it.

Jack Johnson produces a superb Junior Volts performance

For me, one of Tuesday's most impressive performances came from Jack Johnson at the Rock Avenue Club in Gillingham.

Johnson won the Junior Volts competition, defeating Drake Porter 3–0 in the final, and recorded a 104.86 average in that deciding match.

His other leading averages were:

That's four averages above 90, including a three-figure performance in the final.

Johnson finished with six victories, while Porter recorded five.

We talk quite a lot about the standard of junior darts nowadays, and performances like this explain why. A 104 average in a final is impressive at any level, never mind in a junior competition.

Cori Wiltshire wins at Hangar61

At the Super League gap-night round robin at Hangar61, Cori Wiltshire defeated Robbie Long 3–2 in the final.

Both players finished with seven victories, while Chris Hartrey and Louis Hamblin recorded six each.

Hartrey produced the highest average of the competition, 100.20 against Owen Smith, and also recorded 91.09 against Julia Archer.

Robbie Long was another player in good form, averaging 93.94 against Hartrey and recording two further averages of 91.09.

So although Wiltshire took the title, there were several players producing good darts throughout the evening.

Johnny Haines wins at Faringdon

Johnny Haines was another player who combined high averages with a tournament victory.

At Faringdon Town Football Club, Haines defeated Tony Clark 3–2 in the final of the Money In Money Out competition.

He finished with nine victories, the most of anyone in the event.

His leading performances included 103.66 against Chris Sumner, 95.94 against Dave Legg and 88.18 against Woody Wheeler.

Clark finished with eight victories, while Dave Legg recorded seven.

With 75 matches recorded, this was a substantial evening of darts, and Haines deserves credit for maintaining his form through to the final.

Alex Ward wins at Chinnor Pavilion

At Aylesbury Darts Events, Alex Ward won Chinnor Pavilion Vault Break #1, defeating Sean Holley 3–0 in the final.

Ward finished with eight victories and produced averages of 102.48 against Holley and 100.20 against Mark Kerry.

Holley also had an excellent evening, recording 103.66 against Clayton Ford and 100.20 against Harry Campin.

That's four three-figure averages between the two finalists.

Ward ultimately came out on top, but both players produced performances worth mentioning.

Ben Flanagan-McClelland doubles up on 100-plus averages

At the Cue Club Tuesday Open Round Robin, Ben Flanagan-McClelland defeated Sam Sneath 3–2 in the final.

He recorded seven victories and produced two particularly impressive averages: 103.66 against Oliver Kott and 100.20 against Kieran White.

Kris Preval also recorded a 92.36, while Sneath reached the final with four victories.

Again, a good example of a tournament winner producing some of the strongest averages of the evening.

Tyler Garrett impresses in Newport

There was another excellent performance in Wales, where Tyler Garrett won the Calstep Darts Wales Newport Academy Series.

Garrett defeated Cody Vodden 2–0 in the final and finished with six victories.

He recorded 100.20 in the final, 91.09 against Alfie O'Brien and 85.89 in another meeting with Vodden.

Garrett also appears in the Junior Volts results at Out Out Bar, Newport, where the uploaded report lists him as the winner against Rico Anderson.

That competition is labelled Wednesday in the export, despite appearing in Tuesday's reporting batch, so I would treat it as an additional recorded result rather than assume both events took place on Tuesday.

Joe Bagguley puts together five strong averages

One performance that deserves more attention came from Joe Bagguley at Widden Rugby Club.

Bagguley won the In-between Vault Round Robin, defeating Rich Griffee 3–1 in the final and recording nine victories.

What stands out is his collection of leading averages:

AverageOpponent
93.94Matt Amor
93.94Hayden Wood
91.09Josh Finn
91.09Lee Andrews
88.41Todd Marfell

There might not be a three-figure average among those five, but there is something to be said for repeatedly performing around the 90 mark.

That sort of consistency is often more valuable in a tournament than producing one outstanding leg or match and then struggling to repeat it.

More strong performances around the country

At Champs Pool & Darts Bar, Marshall James won the Money In Money Out competition, defeating Mike Huntley 4–0 in the final.

James recorded eight victories and averaged 95.43 in the final, while Louis Melville produced the competition's highest average of 103.66.

At Lindsay Constitutional Club, Stephen Cake won the ADC ranking event, defeating Ryan Davies 3–0. Connor Hopkins recorded 106.64, the second-highest individual average in Tuesday's reporting batch.

At Parr Conservative Club, Sam Cromwell collected nine victories and defeated Stu Friar 3–0 in the final. Chris Chisnall produced a 100.20 and a 93.94.

At Shelley Lock-up Week 7, Rob Metcalfe won the competition with eight victories, while Matt Macintosh recorded a 100.20.

Other notable winners included Lloyd Walker at Fareham Social Club, Harry Rice at JJ's Tuesday Pre-Vault, Adam Fryer at the Hopetown Vault Break, Matt Kershaw at St John's Club and Jayden Scadden at the Railway Inn.

There really was quite a lot going on for a Tuesday.

Junior darts: another busy evening

There were 13 Junior Volts competitions in the reporting batch, covering venues from Gillingham and Yate to Sheffield, Cannock, Preston and Wales.

Jack Johnson's performance was the obvious headline, but there were plenty of other junior winners to recognise.

*The Out Out Bar competition is labelled Wednesday in the source export but included in the 27 October reporting batch.

There were some excellent individual averages too. Spencer Edwards recorded 91.09 at Resolven, Rhys Evans reached 88.41, Rwais Barwais hit 85.89 in Sheffield and Codey Exall produced 85.08 in Halesowen.

Jacob Godber's eight victories at Yate and Riley Sadd's eight at Ogmore Vale are also worth mentioning.

And I wouldn't overlook the Boundary Park Academy competitions at Bar 1895. Five different events were recorded, giving players at several levels an opportunity to compete. Oliver England, Charlie Campbell, Jacob Jones, Stanley Derbyshire and Oscar Monkton were the winners.

Not everyone is going to be averaging 90 or 100, and nor should that be the only measure of a worthwhile tournament. For plenty of developing players, winning matches and getting regular competitive experience is what matters.

WADC: no competitions identified in Tuesday's results

I checked the 60 competitions in the supplied results report and couldn't identify a WADC-labelled event for 27 October.

Rather than invent a result or include one from another day, I'll leave the WADC section at that. We can return to the women's competitions when they appear in the next reporting batch.

Tuesday's ten highest individual averages

These are the ten highest entries in the supplied daily report, so players can appear more than once.

My five standout performances

  1. Jack Johnson: Four averages above 90, including 104.86 in the final, and a Junior Volts title.
  2. Paul Rowley: The day's highest average of 111.33, plus three further performances above 94.
  3. Johnny Haines: Nine victories, a 103.66 and the Faringdon title.
  4. Alex Ward: Eight victories, two three-figure averages and victory at Chinnor Pavilion.
  5. Joe Bagguley: Nine victories and five leading averages between 88.41 and 93.94.

Special mentions to Tyler Garrett, Ben Flanagan-McClelland, Connor Hopkins and Cori Wiltshire.

Another 60 tournaments added to Q4QS

What I particularly enjoyed about Tuesday's results was the variety.

There were players producing three-figure averages, juniors competing at an extremely good standard, and plenty of tournaments where consistency and simply getting over the winning line were more important than one spectacular performance.

Jack Johnson probably gets my vote for the standout performance. Four averages above 90 and a 104.86 in a junior final is something worth celebrating.

But that's just my choice. There were plenty of other players who had a very good Tuesday.

Yesterday's Darts Results: Kaya Baysal Hits 115.62, Jayden Walker Wins Again and 33 Tournaments Added to Q4QS – 26 October 2026

Monday may not have had Sunday's enormous number of tournaments, but there was still plenty to talk about, with 33 competitions added to the Q4QS Database.

Kaya Baysal continued his impressive form with another tournament victory and four three-figure averages. Jayden Walker was among the junior winners in Salisbury, Shane Turner produced a 103.66 average on his way to a title, and Alec Small recorded a 115.62 in Wales.

There was also a remarkable set of averages at a handicap competition in Lichfield, although those figures need to be considered in the context of the format.

And there was WADC action too, with a blind doubles competition at the Red Rose Darts Hub.

Kaya Baysal continues his excellent run

Having featured prominently in Sunday's results, Kaya Baysal was back among the headlines on Monday.

At the David Street Club, Baysal won Pendle Super Series 3 – Week 5, defeating Leighton Jones 3–0 in the final and finishing with nine victories.

What really caught my attention was the consistency of his performances.

He recorded averages of 115.62, 104.86, 102.48 and 100.20, all in the same competition.

The 115.62 came against Alfie Armitage, while the 104.86 was recorded against Tony Clarke.

Carl Bevan and Leighton Jones both finished with seven victories, but Baysal was the outstanding performer.

It's one thing to hit a big average. Producing four three-figure averages during a tournament, and then winning it, tells us rather more about the standard of someone's darts.

Jayden Walker wins another Junior Volts title

At Stratford Social Club in Salisbury, Jayden Walker won the Monday Junior Volts competition, defeating Mason Beaven 3–1 in the final.

Walker finished with six victories and produced the highest average of the event, 86.71 against Jake Bertenshaw.

He also recorded 81.24 against Thomas Scamell and 76.48 against Zachary Petty.

Joshua Stott averaged 78.37, while Petty recorded 76.74.

Walker has appeared in our recent results more than once, and performances like this are worth keeping an eye on. Winning junior tournaments regularly is encouraging, but combining those victories with improving averages is particularly interesting.

Shane Turner breaks the 100 barrier

At the Riverside Club, Shane Turner won the Vault in-betweener competition, defeating Paul Farnes 4–2 in the final.

Turner collected seven victories and produced a 103.66 average against John McDonald.

His other leading averages included 90.13 and 85.08, while Robert Buckle recorded 83.50.

Another strong performance where the tournament winner also produced the highest average.

Alec Small hits 115.62 in Wattsville

One of Monday's strongest individual performances came at Wattsville National Club.

Alec Small recorded a 115.62 average against Luke Pope, followed by an equally impressive 104.86 against Keri Dacey.

However, the tournament title went to Rico Anderson, who defeated Small 3–1 in the final.

Anderson finished with eight victories, while Small collected seven.

It's a good example of something we see quite regularly in grassroots darts. The player producing the biggest averages doesn't necessarily win the tournament.

That doesn't diminish Small's performances, but Anderson deserves credit for coming through the matches and taking the title.

Adam Clarke wins in Lichfield – with some extraordinary averages

At the Bullseye Bar in Lichfield, Adam Clarke defeated Jake Lawley 3–2 to win the Handicap Knockout.

The recorded averages were extraordinary.

Martyn Exall topped the competition with 127.79, followed by Michael Bean on 116.20, Jodie Payne on 113.72, Adam Clarke on 113.56 and Clayton Edge on 112.68.

Those figures certainly stand out, but I would be cautious about comparing them directly with ordinary 501 tournament averages without checking exactly how the handicap format affects the statistics.

The result itself is straightforward: Clarke won the competition, with five victories recorded.

Liam Cook wins in Cwmbran

At Cwmbran Working Men's Club, Liam Cook defeated James Prettyjohn 4–1 in the final of the Money In Money Out competition.

Cook won seven matches and produced the highest average of the tournament, 93.94 against Dai Smith.

He also recorded 78.13 in the final and 77.83 against Ashley Jeremiah.

Prettyjohn and Bravon Monjero each finished with five victories.

Damian Corr takes the Halifax title

Damian Corr won the Division 1 competition at Forest Cottage Community Centre in Halifax, defeating John Clifford 3–1 in the final.

Corr finished with seven victories and produced the event's highest average, 95.94 against Tommy Hudson.

Jordon Catherall recorded 86.71, while Clifford produced 84.52.

A convincing tournament performance from Corr.

More Monday winners

There were several other results worth mentioning.

At Clandown Darts Promotions, Alfie Barney won the Monday Under-65 Round Robin, defeating Freddie Keen 3–2. Barney recorded two averages of 81.24 and finished with seven victories.

At the Wolversdene Club, David Moule defeated Jack Steer 3–0 to win the Money In Money Out Round Robin. Moule won eight matches, while Lee Evans produced the highest average of 98.02.

At Broadway Social Club, Shaun Barnes won the Clwb Emrys Circuit competition, defeating Morgan Preece 3–0 and finishing with nine victories. Preece recorded the highest average of 81.98.

At Bostin Darts 180 Bar, Shaun Hercules defeated Danny Lauby 3–0 in the final. Lauby had produced the competition's highest average of 93.94.

And at the Active Club Hub, Sam Atherton defeated Charlie Taylor 3–0 to win the Monday Vault competition. Both players finished with eight victories.

Junior darts: four Junior Volts competitions

As well as Jayden Walker's victory in Salisbury, three other Junior Volts competitions took place on Monday.

At MK Sports Bar & Lounge in Milton Keynes, Mason Lyon defeated Presley Lamb 3–2 in the final. Zac Copperwheat recorded the highest average of 85.89, with Jack Waker close behind on 83.50.

At McNamara's Sports Bar and Academy, Harley Lewis-Rowlands defeated Mason Gleave 3–0, finishing with seven victories. Rhys Brown produced the highest average of 91.09, while Lewis-Rowlands recorded 85.08 in the final.

At the Empire Clubs in Lancing, Ethan Yates defeated Jamie Johnson 3–2. Johnson produced the competition's highest average of 80.52.

There was also a victory for Harrison Doherty in Monday Night Mayhem at St Anthony's Darts, while Mason Morris won the Social Bull Under-18 Winter League competition.

It's another encouraging set of junior results, particularly with several players recording averages in the 80s and 90s.

WADC: blind doubles at Red Rose Darts Hub

Monday's WADC action came from the WADC Vault Break Blind Doubles at Red Rose Darts Hub.

The pairing listed as Celia Netty defeated Rachel t Andrea 3–2 in the final.

The highest recorded average was 51.83 from the pairing listed as Grace Wendy S.

Because these are blind doubles team labels rather than confirmed individual player identities, I wouldn't attach individual player statistics or profile links to them without further verification.

It's good to see doubles included in the WADC programme. Different formats give players another opportunity to compete, particularly when partnerships are drawn rather than established beforehand.

Monday's highest recorded averages

The handicap competition produced several exceptionally high figures, so I've separated those from the conventional competition results.

These are individual match averages, not tournament averages. Handicap-event figures are shown as recorded and should not automatically be compared on a like-for-like basis with standard competitions.

My five standout performances

  1. Kaya Baysal: Nine victories, four three-figure averages and another Pendle Super Series title.
  2. Alec Small: A 115.62 and a 104.86 at Wattsville, despite finishing runner-up.
  3. Jayden Walker: Another Junior Volts victory, with an 86.71 average in Salisbury.
  4. Shane Turner: Seven victories and a 103.66 average at the Riverside Club.
  5. Liam Cook: Seven victories and a 93.94 average in Cwmbran.

Special mentions go to Damian Corr, Harley Lewis-Rowlands, Rhys Brown and Rico Anderson.

Another 33 tournaments added to Q4QS

Monday's results provided a good mixture of open competitions, restricted-average events, junior darts, a handicap tournament and WADC doubles.

For me, Kaya Baysal was the standout story. Following up Sunday's success with another title and four averages over 100 is impressive.

But there were plenty of other achievements worth recognising, from Jayden Walker's junior victory to Rico Anderson beating a player who had produced two exceptional averages.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy looking beyond the final scores. There's usually more to a tournament than simply who lifted the trophy.
