Yesterday's Darts Results: Two 115.62 Averages, Simon Stevenson Shines in Plymouth and 103 Tournaments Added – 25 October 2026

Sunday was another huge day of grassroots darts, with 103 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database. And although there were plenty of winners to celebrate, three averages above 115 stood out: Ben Flanagan-McClelland recorded 118.66, while Jack Johnson and William Thomas both hit 115.62.

There was plenty happening closer to home too. Simon Stevenson and Andrew Cook enjoyed success in Plymouth, Ryan Greenslade won in Taunton, Scott Mc took the title in Gloucester, and Logun Godbeer came through a competitive Sunday session in Portishead.

We also had a particularly busy day of junior darts, while ten WADC competitions provided another excellent selection of results.

Ben Flanagan-McClelland tops the day with 118.66

At the Cue Club in South Wigston, Ben Flanagan-McClelland recorded an extraordinary 118.66 average against David Fisher. It was the highest individual match average in Sunday's report.

He also won ten matches, defeating Oliver Smith 3–1 in the final, and recorded other leading averages of 91.09 and 88.41.

It's one thing to hit an exceptional average in a single match. To follow it up by winning the tournament makes the achievement even more impressive.

Jack Johnson and William Thomas both hit 115.62

At Foots Cray Social Club, Jack Johnson produced a 115.62 average against Gareth Carter. He then averaged 109.98 in his 3–0 final victory over George Whyte, finishing with eight victories.

Meanwhile, at the Mile End Inn in Swansea, William Thomas matched that 115.62 against Zac Taylor. Thomas also won eight matches, defeating Jack Brown 3–0 in the final. His other leading averages included 98.02 and 95.94.

What impressed me most was that neither player simply produced one outstanding match and disappeared from the competition. Both went on to take the title.

Simon Stevenson and Andrew Cook enjoy a successful Sunday in Plymouth

There were two separate Vault 19 competitions recorded at Legends Lounge in Plymouth, producing two different winners.

Simon Stevenson won one competition, defeating Finlay Cleave 3–1 in the final and collecting eight victories. His leading averages included 98.71, 91.57, 91.09 and two performances of 88.41.

Stevenson also produced the highest recorded average across the two Plymouth competitions, hitting 103.66 against Blake Dolling.

In the other event, Andrew Cook defeated Finlay Cleave 3–0 in the final, also finishing with eight victories. Cleave reached both finals, which deserves recognition in its own right.

Scott Mc wins in Gloucester

At Tuffley Community Association, Scott Mc defeated Joe Bagguley 3–2 to win the Sunday Vault competition. Scott recorded an 89.16 average among his leading performances.

The highest average of the competition belonged to Alfie Palmer, who reached 96.97. Chris Wintle also impressed with 91.72.

Another competitive event in Gloucester, and another example of why the highest average doesn't always belong to the eventual winner.

Ryan Greenslade wins at the Queens Arms in Taunton

Ryan Greenslade defeated Lucas Bates 3–2 in a closely contested final at the Queens Arms. Both finalists finished with six victories.

The standout scoring performance came from Richard Frost, who recorded 95.94. Frost also produced 88.41 and 81.24 during the competition.

Greenslade's victory was built on getting through the matches that mattered.

Logun Godbeer takes the Portishead title

At Portishead Workmen's Club, Logun Godbeer defeated Woody Jewell 3–2 in the Sunday Session Open. Both finalists finished with eight victories.

Godbeer also recorded the highest average of the competition, 81.24 against Steve Boundy, alongside 75.37 against Max Maggs. Josh Rose contributed a 77.08 average.

Kaya Baysal produces another excellent performance

One of the strongest overall performances came at Flight Night in Burnley. Kaya Baysal won eight matches and defeated James Lawson 3–0 in the final.

Baysal recorded 103.66 twice, followed by 102.48 in the final and 93.94 in another match. Lawson also produced a 103.66 average.

It's an impressive set of figures, particularly when the tournament-winning performance itself was above 100.

James Richardson wins in Stoke

At Longton Snooker & Pool Club, James Richardson won the rearranged Wednesday Vault competition, defeating Oliver Griffiths 3–1. Richardson recorded a 107.36 average against Josh Gascoigne and finished with eight victories.

A second competition at the venue was won by Bailey Ward, who defeated Matt Carr 3–2. Ward recorded 93.94.

WADC: Gemma Hayter wins, while Sue Ramsay takes two titles

Sunday featured ten WADC competitions, including Event 11 of the WADC Winmau Championship South.

At Bradmoor Farm in Aylesbury, Gemma Hayter defeated Rebecca Rose 5–1 in the final. The highest average of the event belonged to Trina Gulliver at 86.18, followed closely by Fallon Sherrock's 86.06 and Rebecca Rose's 83.50.

Sue Ramsay enjoyed a particularly successful day, winning at both the Phoenix Club in Waterlooville and the Station in Bognor Regis. At Waterlooville she defeated Aimee Jeffery 3–0; at Bognor Regis she beat Mary-Jane Wingate 3–2.

There were further WADC victories for Sandra Rule in Warrington, Lisa Hughes in Caernarfon, Elsie-Mai Tarrant in Eastleigh, Kayleigh Brown in Colchester, Celia Allen in Preston, Eileen Harrison in Oldham and Loz Jones in Dyserth.

Kayleigh Brown's leading averages included 69.91, 66.80 and 60.12. It's good to see so many WADC competitions running on the same day, offering regular competitive opportunities across different levels of the women's game.

Junior Volts: Riley Cox wins in Exeter

Sunday brought a substantial programme of Junior Volts competitions across the country.

At the Kings Pub in Exeter, Riley Cox defeated Tommy Ronchetti 3–2 in the final, collecting six victories and recording the competition's highest average of 81.24 against Oliver Hutchings.

At the Banckers Draught in Minehead, Joshua Pravato won eight matches before defeating Jamie Roberts 3–1. Kyle Chivers recorded the highest average there at 80.35.

Charlie Lowin recorded an 89.46 average at Soccer Zone in Halesowen, although Tyler Shuck went on to win the competition. Jack Waker recorded 88.41 at Hotshots in Milton Keynes, while Josh Stonehouse averaged 83.50 in the final at the Baize Lounge in Selby.

Drake Porter was particularly consistent at the Rock Avenue Club in Gillingham, recording averages of 83.50, 81.98 and 80.52 on his way to victory.

Other junior winners included Chloe Wicks, Theo Everton, Ethan Challis, Alfie Osman, Sam Jones, Brodie Brompton, Logan Smith, Ryan Denner, Harvey Stringer, Jack Powell, James Butler, Harrison Doherty and Evan Matthews.

With so many junior tournaments taking place, it's encouraging to see both the number of players involved and the standard of darts being produced.

These are individual match averages, not tournament-wide averages. Players with several high-scoring matches appear once in this table.

My five standout performances

  1. Ben Flanagan-McClelland: A 118.66 average, ten victories and the South Wigston title.
  2. Jack Johnson: A 115.62 average, followed by 109.98 in the final.
  3. William Thomas: A 115.62 average and eight victories in Swansea.
  4. Kaya Baysal: Two 103.66 averages and a 102.48 final performance in Burnley.
  5. Simon Stevenson: A tournament victory in Plymouth and a 103.66 average during the day's competitions.

Special mentions go to Dan Nicholls, James Richardson, Gemma Hayter, Sue Ramsay and the many Junior Volts winners.

Another busy Sunday for grassroots darts

With 103 tournaments added to the Q4QS Database, Sunday gave us another enormous selection of results to look through.

The highest averages naturally attract attention, but I think there's just as much value in recognising players who win their local competitions, reach finals or produce a personal-best performance.

Not everyone is going to average 100, and that's not what grassroots darts is about. For every 118.66, there will be someone delighted to have won their first tournament, reached their first final or finally beaten an opponent they've struggled against.

All of those achievements matter.

Yesterday’s Darts Results: Mat Caste Hits 115.62 as 81 Tournaments Join Q4QS – 27 September 2026

Sunday produced one of the biggest Q4QS result days of the week, with 81 tournaments added to the database and some outstanding numbers from around the country.

The headline performance belonged to Mat Caste, who hit a huge 115.62 on his way to winning at the Carlton House Club in Olney. Curtis Hammond wasn't far behind with 111.33 in Ipswich, while Elliott Neary, Andrew Cook, Andy Steed and Stuart Bennett all reached 103.66.

There was plenty closer to home as well. Plymouth produced two of the day's 103.66 averages, Paul Gardiner won again in Taunton and the Junior Volts programme supplied a huge number of results across the country.

Caste combines 115.62 with the title

The biggest individual performance came at the Carlton House Club in Olney, where Mat Caste averaged 115.62 in a 2–0 victory over Bill McCloud.

It wasn't simply one big match either. Caste also recorded 98.02 and eventually won the tournament, beating Dean Taylor 3–1 in the final.

He finished the day with eight victories and, for me, that's one of Sunday's clearest standout performances: the highest average anywhere in the Q4QS results and the tournament win to go with it.

Hammond hits 111.33 in Ipswich

There was another huge performance at the Gardeners Arms in Ipswich.

Curtis Hammond hit 111.33 against Kai Garwood and went on to beat Arthur Allston 3–2 in the final.

Allston had an impressive day himself, recording 102.00, 100.20 and 98.93, but Hammond took the title with eight victories.

That's a very strong tournament at the top end, rather than simply a single eye-catching average.

Plymouth produces two 103.66 averages

One of my favourite results of the day came from Legends Lounge in Plymouth.

Andrew Cook and Andy Steed both hit 103.66, Danny Bull reached 96.97, and Mark Gilbery recorded 91.09 twice.

Despite all those numbers, it was Danny Bull who came through to win the tournament, beating Gilbery 3–0 in the final.

Bull and Gilbery both finished with seven wins, with Steed on six. That's a good illustration of the strength we're beginning to see regularly at some of the South West Vault venues.

Paul Gardiner wins again in Taunton

At the Queens Arms in Taunton, Paul Gardiner took the title with a 3–1 victory over Ashley Howe.

Gardiner's best performance actually came in the final, where he averaged 84.18, and he also recorded a 75.07 during the event.

Nigel Hodges hit 83.50 and Lauren Collins 75.15 on another competitive Sunday at the venue.

Wales provides another ton-plus performance

Wales continues to add plenty to these daily reports.

Louis Melville hit 100.20 at the Mile End Inn in Swansea, although the tournament itself went to Jonny Carr, who beat Josh Richards 3–1 in the final.

There was also a 100.20 from Dafydd Roach in the Clwb Emrys Draig Under-66 Finals Day. Roach went on to win that tournament as well, beating Mark Burton 3–2 and finishing with seven victories.

Elsewhere in Wales, Kevin Mills won in Blaenavon with a 92.02 along the way, Timothy Jones took the Briton Ferry Vault and Rhodri Phillips won in Llandysul.

Stuart Bennett joins the 103.66 club

The New Croft in Haverhill produced another performance worth highlighting.

Stuart Bennett averaged 103.66 against Harry Donno, added a 92.90 later in the tournament and then took the title with a 3–1 final victory over Gary Butcher.

Charlie Gambin also broke the ton barrier with 100.20, while Butcher reached 93.94.

Bennett finished with seven wins, making this another case where the big average was backed up by the tournament result.

Elliott Neary hits 103.66

At Ellistown Working Mens Club, Elliott Neary recorded 103.66 and later added an 88.41.

The tournament went to Macy Gibbons, who beat Jack Beasley 3–1 in the final and finished with eight wins.

Leon Baumber also impressed with 92.17 as another Vault produced plenty of depth beyond the eventual winner.

Mike Gillet dominates in Eastleigh

One of the more complete performances came from Mike Gillet at Eastleigh WMC.

Gillet won the tournament with eight victories, beating Jack Seymour 3–0 in the final with a 98.02 average.

His other leading figures included 91.09, two 88.41s and 85.89.

It may not quite have the headline number of Caste or Hammond, but that is a very strong sequence across an entire event.

Another huge Junior Volts day

Sunday was particularly busy for the JDC Junior Volts series, with events staged across the country.

One of the South West winners was Joseph Lauridsen at The Kings Pub in Exeter, beating Aaron Rea 3–0 in the final. Lauridsen hit 83.50 during the event, matching Oliver Hutchings for the best average.

There were also titles for players including Hector Bowers, Jackson Osborne, Reggie Bellott, Alfie Osman, Jack Turner, Freddie Skone, Arjun Sharma, Tyler Shuck and Josh Lloyd.

At The Big Fish in Leigh-on-Sea, Will Fisher produced one of the strongest junior performances of the day, winning the tournament and recording an 86.71.

WADC: four Sunday tournaments

There were four WADC Vault 3.0 tournaments in Sunday's results, so they certainly deserve their own section.

At Highways Sports & Social Club in Colchester, Sophie Shepherd beat Catherine Haley 3–1 in the final.

At Penybanc RFC in Ammanford, Rhian Osullivan beat Alannah Waters-Evans 3–1. Osullivan also recorded an excellent 81.98, although the source data for this event appears to contain some mixed match rows, so I'd be cautious about drawing too much from the wider event statistics.

Bridget McGuire won at the Phoenix Club in Waterlooville, beating Rosie Robinson 3–2 and finishing with five victories. McGuire also produced the three highest listed averages among the women's results there.

Finally, Elizabeth Moss won at The Station in Bognor Regis, beating Susan Ramsay 3–1 and finishing with seven victories.

Four WADC events in a single day's export is another useful addition to the growing women's database.

Five performances that caught my eye

  1. Mat Caste – 115.62 — Carlton House Club, Olney
  2. Curtis Hammond – 111.33 — Gardeners Arms, Ipswich
  3. Andrew Cook – 103.66 — Legends Lounge, Plymouth
  4. Andy Steed – 103.66 — Legends Lounge, Plymouth
  5. Stuart Bennett – 103.66 — New Croft, Haverhill

Elliott Neary also hit 103.66, Tony Chapman reached 102.48, Arthur Allston 102.00, while Dafydd Roach and Charlie Collins both recorded 100.20.

81 tournaments in one day

The scale of Sunday's results is probably the biggest story of all.

81 tournaments means hundreds of players and thousands of individual match results feeding into Q4QS.

There were Vaults, Junior Volts, WADC events, restricted-average competitions, junior tournaments, local opens and league competitions covering a huge geographical spread.

And that's increasingly what I want Yesterday's Results to show.

The winner matters, but so does the player who hits 103 and doesn't win. So does the junior putting together a run of 80-plus averages, the player improving at a regular venue, and the strength of a tournament several rounds before the final.

The bigger the database gets, the more of those stories Q4QS can find.
